   Great light weight scope. I noticed on a full moon night the IR is not needed as it functions quite well in low ambient light.
   This my second scope from Triton, the first one was the 3X18 which is fantastic on a long rifle.
   I hope to find one day a co-witness mount for Triton scopes.

   2nd one is definitely better than the first. I wasn’t given this for free. It’s not a 3k scope and the digital zoom leaves much to be desired but man if you wanna punch coyotes from the back porch up to about 100 yards at night without spending a fortune this will get it done. The IR illuminator does drain the battery so a hand held IR flood light would be a much better solution to make shooting easier and save the batteries. Gonna keep this one. .

   I find the reticle very hard to see, it tends to be overpowered by the IR light on my opinion. Have it mounted to my M4 for coyotes and such but I wouldn’t trust it much past fifty yards. It does work though, if paired with a good laser for target verification and such.

   I took a chance on this $200 Digital NV scope and am glad I did. I am really impressed with it. Seems very well built, very clean and crisp HD screen, Zoom is a plus, and the built in infrared illuminator is awesome. I have been using a Firefield/Yukon Varmint Hunter NV scope for at least 10 years. It is great for what I use it for. Busting rats off the backyard fence. The only real con is the weight.
   I just happened to see this little scope and after reading the reviews decided to try it. This scope feels like a feather compared to the V.H. and it is also a DAY scope! Something I’m not used to since the varmint hunter is for night use only.
   I already had an IR laser lined up with my previous scope, and I literally got this new scope adjusted in minutes. I like everything about it. In fact I bought another one that has the doubler and accessories. I feel the prices will go up on these scopes so get one now if your on the fence.

   Product charging port rubber cover fell off emailed their tech support 3 days later I received an email that they would be in further contact with me and I never heard from them again. The company’s tech support is the worst. Don’t waist your money you will be disappointed with the clarity and the lack of tech support for this optic.

   It is only digital night vision but for the process it’s pretty good. It is useable out to about 60-75 yards. I put it on a 22mag. Battery life isn’t the best, but it uses 18650 batteries so you can carry plenty extras to swap out.

   Definitely cool as a digital red dot sort of setup, clear view and sharp reticle, but the night IR viewing is trash. You need a supplemental IR torch to see more than 10 feet in front of you, let alone 50 or 100 yards. If the night vision was better, I’d have rated better, but for it’s intended purpose of night sniping ‘yotes and hogs, just not up to par. Shame cuz otherwise I really like it.

   I intend to put this on a pump pellet gun (don’t judge), but the parts I needed to mount it are on back order. So I’m going to review this without mounting it. I’ll provide an update if I find anything new after I get it mounted. To start with this comes with the night vision scope, a battery, a Micro SD memory card, a USB-A to C charging cable, and a lens cloth. It also comes with instructions, but they are largely incomplete. When it arrived I installed the battery, wrong the first time, and plugged the cable in to charge it. A red light came on, which I assume meant it was charging. Several hours later the light turned green which I figured meant it was charged. Better instructions would have been nice so I didn’t have to guess if I was doing things right. After powering the unit up I hit the menu button and a small menu of options showed up on the screen. I was able to figure out how to manipulate most of the options on my own, but here again, better instructions would have helped. I also kind of expected there to be complete instructions somewhere in the menu, but there were none besides some charging pointers. Testing the scope in handheld mode I found it to be a pretty nice night vision tool. It has full color daytime mode, and of course IR night vision mode. The IR emitter is only needed when it is very dark or in total darkness. I found that moonlight was enough to see without the IR emitter. The picture on the screen is clear and the focus wheel isn’t ridiculously sensitive like many of the rifle scopes I’ve used. The cross-hairs on the one I received were not centered. Not even close. This is one place where the verbiage included on the instruction sheet came in handy. Moving the cross-hairs is the least intuitive thing about this scope. It’s not even that easy to do with the instructions. It also seems that moving the cross-hair is the way to sight this scope in, so success in that regard will depend on the mounting, length of barrel, etc. That being said, this scope seems to be geared more toward taking photos and videos, which is just as well as shooting at night is illegal most everywhere. It also seems that the intent is to use it along side another scope, which I see as a waste. At a maximum of 6x magnification this scope should be considered a close range option, which perfectly fits with the air gun I’m going to try it on. It would also be good for personal protection, but if you are hiding in the dark it’s probably best to just stay hidden if you can. The best part about this scope is the compact size and light weight. It helps to keep whatever you mount it on from becoming too bulky and heavy. I’m mostly going to use this scope to see what kind of critters are roaming around my place after dark. My dad has some nocturnal pests that we may use this on to pepper with a pellet or to so they are less likely to come back.
