   Love the design of this case. Exceptional build quality. Zipper quality seems to be nice and sturdy. Average sized hunting rifle fits perfectly. The padding is super soft and not scratchy at all. Value for the money spent is unmatched.

   The case itself is on the small side… which I knew from the measurements provided… (Be sure to check your guns vs the measurements!) However, it fits what I needed it to fit and I do like the external pouches for help getting things to the range. I could do without all the padding on the inside but I suppose it’s nice to know the rifle is protected while in transit. Probably wouldn’t use for long term storage but it’s a great range day bag.

   Very substantial quality here – thick sturdy hardware, very nice zippers and roomy pockets. Shoulder strap is great. My Henry 22 lever action fits very nicely and similar dimension 92 actions should also fit. The material feels like oiled canvas, very old school.

   If I’d have my “druthers”, I’d rather have a 2-way zipper, so you can close it upwards or downwards. But it’s a minor preference, which doesn’t take away from the overall quality. I am 100% happy.

   Available in two sizes and two colors. I ordered the smaller size, in black. If I could choose again, I’d go with the coffee color, for vanity purposes. It’s a snug fit, but it accommodated a Henry lever action, which is what I was hoping for. It’s too small for any of my other longs. An AK style almost fits, but the grip sticks out too far, preventing zipping up the case all the way. Construction seems solid. The wool interior is soft and fuzzy. The stitching looks to be quality. The zipper pull is chunky and it operates smoothly. It’s easy to find and hold onto the pull with gloved or cold hands. You can attach a small lock (not included) from the zipper pull to a D ring when the case is closed to secure it. See pics. The 3 side pouches are capacious. Not sure what I’m going to store in there, if anything. Maybe ear / eye pro or snacks. Overall: This satisfied a storage need for me and I like the quality of the case. Most long arms will necessitate a larger size, so measure before you pull the metaphorical trigger on your purchase!

   Let me start with stating that despite a 3-star review, I recommend getting this case at a lower price. The price at the time of this review is $79 for a 38″ version and that’s a bit expensive. What’s good about this case: + An excellent case for transporting your rifles (think Ruger 10/22 or Henry 357 Bigboy X which is the upper limit of what this case can accommodate) to the range or wherever when they aren’t locked in a safe. The exterior is made very well and looks like it’ll weather a bit of wear and tear. I like the slim profile and the options for carrying this case (provided sling and the extra sling hooks at the end on top of the hand carry option) + The pouches are quite welcome to have for carrying extra rounds, ear/eye protection or even magazines. Again, the profile of these pouches is well engineering so as to keep the overall bag profile slim and functional. + Do like the little corner pouch inside that acts a protective shield for the muzzle. What could be better: – I’m not a fan of the wool interior. It feels luxurious to touch and this soft case is being sold as a storage bag. Wool attracts water and depending on your environment, you don’t want to risk rust with long term storage. Also, not a fan of the wool texture for the lead residue that will build up over time after range use. Wiping gear including the insides of the bag with lead wipes should take care of this issue. – Could be priced better. Overall, I do quite like the bag as this is temporary storage for firearms in my case. A few pieces of parting advice: 1. Never put snacks in the compartments. Carry your food separately. You don’t want to mix lead and food. Carrying snacks in your rifle cases is foolish. 2. Don’t use this bag for long term storage. If you do plan to do that, buy a few silica gel packs from ngclab.com and toss them in the case. Make sure you oil your firearm and check it regularly. Or use silicone socks.

   Don’t assume because it’s priced less inexpensive than others that you’ll sacrifice quality, you won’t!

   This soft gun case is made of a durable material externally and a soft lambs wool internally. The zipper is solid (not cheap), and functions with ease. The shoulder straps is comfortable and adjust nicely. I appreciate that it has carry handles in addition to the should strap. I also like the 3 extra compartments to carry extra ammo, replacement battery for my trail cam, extra socks, gloves, snacks, whatever. It’s nice to fit what I need in 1 case.

   The plush and fluffy interior is wonderful for cradling my husbands special Henry rifle. It has a carrying strap and three large pockets for ammo. It carries comfortably by either the hand handle or the strap slung over a shoulder. It’s a quality build with sturdy, smooth operating zippers and a reinforced barrel end. Has a metal ring on both ends. Since it came with a shoulder strap, we’re not sure what the rings are for! Our one and only complaint would be that it’s a pet fur magnet.
