Stitching coming apart only after 2 months of light use. Dang, for as much as I paid for this, I was hoping the quality would be better. Really disappointed!
I'm using this to hold random stuff I carry around in my jeep and it does the job well. I have it holding several odd fluids, some straps and a spare impact. Color happens to roughly match a desert sand pearl TJ so that's a plus for me! I have a decent amount of weight in it and it doesn't seem to give much as all despite being semi-soft walled. The dividers on the inside are the worst part but they get the job done. They just Velcro to the inside of the walls and are easy to knock down or move it you have one side loaded heavier it might knock it over. No big deal. Everything stays in the bag.
I already have the plain dot version of this sight that is nearly identical to this model, although it does not have the circle around the dot or the raised backup nubs that can act as iron sights. When I decided to get another sight, I was pleased enough with this brand that I ordered their circle dot version. I find circle dots easier to acquire while I’m still learning to transition from irons on my pistols. This is a well thought out Mini Green Dot sight. It has the RMR footprint and is similar in size to the Holosun 407C but not the micro sized 407k. Pros: - Tough and durable aluminum construction throughout the housing but it is very lightweight. It weighs only 1.5-ounces with the battery installed, and 2.6-ounces with the Picatinny Mount - It is relatively easy to adjust for windage and elevation, but a flathead screwdriver is required. - There are two buttons on the unit, on the left and right sides. You must depress and hold either button to increase or decrease the amount of illumination. You can also turn it off from any brightness setting by depressing the minus button. - The unit has an IPX7 waterproof rating, so it can be used in the rain and even accidentally dropped into water. - It has a memory function, so when you turn on the unit from any particular brightness setting, it will turn on to the last brightness setting at which you used it. - The MOTAC “shake-Awake” feature works as advertised. It auto-turns off after five minutes if there is no motion, in order to conserve battery power but it comes on instantly with the slightest movement. Note that the unit must be turned on initially for this feature to work. - It comes with a picatinny rail mount, screws of different sizes to accommodate most slides, screwdrivers, and one tiny CR1632 battery. - There are raised nubs that can be used as sight lines at the rear of the sight that can act as a backup iron sight in case the electronics fail. - The best part of all is that you can replace the battery without having to remove the sight from the firearm. Granted, it is not a slide out tray like more expensive models and it requires a Torx screwdriver head to open the battery compartment, but it is far superior to the models that have the battery underneath the unit. Cons: - There is no solar backup mode. If the battery dies, the unit will not illuminate. - It doesn’t come with a soft malleable dustcover like my other Zulisky. - There aren’t any Night Vision (NV) settings. Despite my nitpicks, you are getting a well-designed unit for a fraction of the price of comparable models that are similarly featured, and I really like the bright green circle dot that I find easier to see than a plain dot or red colored dot.
Good Magazines from lancer tac, love the color (light tan), and they feed extremely well as well as being a tough non plastic magazine they can take a beating on the field, and are able to still feed with no issue. I recommend buying an after market magazine for your lancer tac M4 because they feed better than the stock mag you get. PROs: -Feed better than stock mags haven’t had one misfire or not feed from them -Nice solid matte tan color and good magazine durability -got a little weight to them (which I like) CONs: -Really none other than I feel like the price is a little steep for one magazine, I bought Two and it totaled closer to $34.. I feel like it should be sold as a two pack for about $20-$22
This is a great leveler, I used this while sighting in rifles on a tripod. Packaging looked good upon unpacking, everything worked after putting the battery in, the threads do have a rubber water sealer making it water resistant, the unit itself seems to be well made and heavy, the rail mount mounts perfect and secured to all of my rifles and is calibrated correctly. The digital screen is very clear and readable in different lighting. The supplied directions are useful and easy to understand, I found myself referencing them a few times, would probably be a good idea to keep them handy in case you forget how to read the digital display. My only issue is that this unit is rather large and sticks out close to two inches on the side of your rifle, I think this would be best as a tool to use and once your done you take it off. Or on a professional level install it to take a risky shot. Other than that it’s a great tool to level up your shots.
Well, this Feyachi magnifier actually turned out to be great and at the current price of around 90 bucks only it’s a great deal for what it delivers! It's very well-made, has an all-black non-reflective finish, feels rock solid, and delivers a crisp and clear picture. Moreover, it offers a unique feature that I have not seen before in other magnified - variable magnification! Usually magnifiers have a constant magnification ratio, but with this one you can easily go from 1.5x to 5x with a simple turn of a ring, just like with a variable scope. This is really an excellent feature that greatly improves versatility and usability of the magnifier. By the way, there are no turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, instead you have to use a small hex key to turn adjustment screws (hex screwdriver is included). Adjustments are easy to make, and each turn is confirmed with a clear and crisp click. But this also means that you cannot make adjustments easily on-the-go, but I never needed to adjust a magnifier viewpoint once it’s set up, so no love lost for me here. Plus, I don’t have to deal with turret caps that I constantly lose. It's fairly large and heavy, weighing 353 grams, and feels heavy-duty and robust. Size-wise, it's a little larger than a standard full-size magnifier (probably because of the variable magnification feature) and is best fitted for extended top rail setups where you have enough space to spare. While the magnifier perfectly matches my Feyachi red dot sight having similar style, fit and finish, it will work just fine with any other brand's red dot as well. I also tried this magnifier with Vortex, Sig Sauer, and Monstrum red dot sights, and it works with all the sights perfectly, so you can pick and choose from any other brand to use with this magnifier. Style might be different, though, so I usually prefer to pair red dots with a magnifier of the same brand for the perfect visual match. And one last thing - the optics in this magnifier are absolutely fantastic, it's crystal clear at any magnification level from 1.5 to 5 with a large FOV, can't complain at all. I’d say that it's on par with Vortex optics' quality. Out of the box, its flip mount is not attached to the magnifier itself. The magnifier is held in the flip mount by one scope ring with four Torx screws. By default, it flips to the right side, just like I prefer it to be set up. Though you can try to set it up for the left side flip as well but then the push button will be inconveniently facing forward. Unfortunately, you cannot adjust the height of the magnifier, so you are stuck with a 37 mm fixed height. Make sure that the red dot sight you are planning to use this magnifier with is at the same height before ordering! Also, I don’t really like that the Picatinny clamp does not have recoil stops and that it uses only one thumb screw to attach it to a rail, which is the least convenient and error-prone way to do it IMHO. I’d rather prefer to have two Torx screws or to use a QD mount. Bottom line: Yes, I would definitely recommend this Feyachi magnifier to my friends at a shooting range. It is very well-made with a durable, non-reflective finish and clear optics. Its unique feature is the variable magnification (1.5x to 5x), making it more versatile than typical fixed magnifiers. Adjustments with recessed screws require a hex key, not turrets. Optics are crystal clear at any magnification level. I’d give it 5 stars no problem, but it has a few drawbacks like large size, no left side flip mount, no height adjustment, no recoil stops and flimsy Picattiny mount. Therefore, it’s 4 stars in my book. Pros: 1. Rock-solid and durable build. 2. Variable magnification (1.5x to 5x) for versatility 3. Clear and crisp image at all magnification levels 4. Compatible with various red dot brands. 5. Simple, precise adjustments with hex key (tool included). 6. Weather-, fog-, shock-proof robust design. 7. Nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed. 8. Affordable price for great build quality and optics Cons: 1. Fixed height (37mm) may limit compatibility. 2. Adjustments are not easily made on-the-go. 3. Larger and heavier than standard magnifiers. 4. Picatinny clamp lacks recoil stops and uses only one thumb screw. 5. Mount can't be set up for the left side flip.
I've been using this safe for about three weeks now, and I find it to be well built. It fits nicely in the corner without taking up too much space. I appreciate the double locks, which can have separate combinations, (allowing me to keep my wife out of one of them.) The doors don't fit very tightly, but they close securely and feel safe. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
There is a lot I really like about this bipod. Unfortunately there is one shortcoming to it, that just irks me. The bipod has detent setting to lock it in place. But the detent settings are not adjustable from what I can see. And on the one I got they are not parallel to the rifle. They sit to one side when tightened down.
The lid is closed against spring pressure so when unlocked it raises automatically. My sample didn't open about 90% of the time. The problem is shown in the first picture. The bottom of the vertical bolt is bent slightly off to the right. This caused it to bind against the lock strike hard enough to prevent it from releasing properly. Bending the bolt straight using an adjustable wrench fixed it - straightened strike shown in second picture. Pros: Nice size to fit under car seat or similar spot. Fingerprint reader works well, as does the combination. Note that I added numbers 7, 8, 9, and 0, so that I could more easily program a combination number that I'm already familiar with - shown in third picture. Cons: The cable provided to secure the safe to an object is fairly thin, but that's common, I think. The problem here is in how it's secured to the safe using a relatively small single screw that passes through the safe wall and is screwed into a female threaded sleeve swaged to the end of the cable. Merely bending the female threaded sleeve back and forth with a pliers or similar will cause the screw thread part to fatigue and break in short order. No cable cutter required. With a few small changes, along with improved quality control, this would rate 5 stars.
These are pretty identical to the Crye G4 pant. Same exact pockets and velcro straps. The color is a little different. The Crye pant is on the right in the pictures.
This helmet came exactly as described and expected. Everything fits correctly and it tight. The rails are in spec and the shroud fits a mount tightly There is a pamphlet with picturs of a fully built helmet to help you place the velcro in the correct places The adjustment know for the cage is stiff so once you set it, it should stay in place Padding works but should be upgraded as it is very flimsy and thin That is the only Con ive found for this helmet though!
The laser cartridge works great and I would suggest buying that seperately. The target has a swith to set for exhisting light and is hard to set by trial and error. The black shroud you see on the center pic to the left of the target is used to place over the target and to shade the lens from light, doesn't fit the target properly and the holes for the switches are too small and hard to line up and keep in alignment as you move the target. Seriously , it is a useless joke. The item you see on the right is a cardboard light shroud I handmade and it works well. I reccommend the Laser cartridge but not the target that requires the usless light shroud that comes with it.
If you've been shooting with bipods that cost 50 or less, you don't know true happiness.
This is a great scope, and quite sturdy, with lots of excellent features and accessories. WHAT YOU GET: in addition to the scope itself, you get a tripod which extends over 6 feet off the ground at maximum extension, a carrying case, a cleaning brush and air-puffer, plus a phone mount for the eyepiece. WHAT I LIKED: The optics on this scope are excellent. Very clear picture, and minimal distortion, and easy-to-use 20-60x Optical zoom right on the eyepiece. It is sturdy and durable, and features a sun shade that extends over the forward lens. It also has ease to remove covers for both lenses. The coarse and fine adjustment knobs are easy to use and reach while viewing through the eyepiece. The carrying case is super convenient, as the scope is heavier than your smaller type spotting scopes. And the tripod is a great size. The phone mount is also really well designed, works with just about any sized phone, and is easy to connect to the scope without messing up your setting too much. ANY ISSUES? The only concerns I had were really with the accessories and not the scope. The tripod is mostly plastic, so it is prone to wobble a little under the weight of the scope, but not enough that I ever worried about it falling. Just that it's tough to make fine adjustments to your viewing angle while attached. It would work fine on another tripod if you have one though. Also, be careful not to tighten the eyepiece dust cover too much. One time I went to remove it and it pulled off the whole lens! Nothing was damaged, I just had to reattach it, which was quite easy, but could prove frustrating if you're not expecting it. OVERALL: This is a great buy! Quality for the price and a very easy to use. I was able to count the shingles on a house in the next neighborhood over, so it'll do great for wildlife viewing, bird watching, or targeting out to a kilometer or more. I haven't tried stargazing with it due to the weather, but I'm hoping I can get the moons of Jupiter!
No intricate mechanisms, no over-engineering, no flimsy molded plastic. Just a thoughtfully designed vertical mount that does exactly what it's designed to do. The mounting plates are strong, the forks that do the holding are a good size to accommodate average variations in size and shape. It comes with some good quality mounting hardware as well, various anchors and screws depending on what you're going into. Sorry, not going to post any pictures of it installed, or in use. I like this setup, no more propping, leaning, balancing, etc. Now I'm thinking of where I might be able to put another one. Highly recommended.
