I ordered 3 new cameras. 2 of the 3 were sealed with scotch tape. I like the product but if you charge me for a "new" unit, I want to be new. Not returned new.
This carbon fiber tripod is excellent. The rods telescope from 32" to 72" - the legs are adjustable using plastic friction locks. At the end of the legs are rubber feet that can be further adjusted to precisely level out the tripod. The holder at the top is adjustable in all three directions (pitch and 360 degree rotation) and has a bubble level for positioning. The holder is plastic with padding to protect the stock, adjustable using plastic handled screws to tighten the adjustable side. The tripod held steady using a Ruger 7mm Rem Mag - accuracy improved over a shooting rest. This will be very effective for long ranged shots and siting in a rifle.
This isn’t lighted. Extremely hard to see in dim conditions. You can change settings ONLY on the app!!! Forget trying to change anything in a treestand with cold fingers! The app is NOT designed with this unit in minds. User CANNOT change the sight height! Several other gun and projectile specs are fixed as well. See photo. This DOES affect the ballistic solution. The app only computes a solution to 850 yards. Battery life is very short even though the unit turns off quickly. Instead of spending the $$$ and being forced to use a crippled / useless app, get a cheaper rangefinder and use Hornady 4DOF or JBM website.
I got nervous when I say for a couple days in a row that the shipping label had been created but no actual movement when I reached out to the seller they were quick to respond and actually heard me and didn't dismiss me. They followed up and made sure they were working on it and wanted to know that I did receive the package and if everything was ok with it. The safe itself is actually pretty impressive for the price point it's really easy to put together, they must have redone the instructions because they were easy to follow and once it's put together it feels pretty solid. The door/locking mechanism is easy to program and the fingerprint sensor is quick and I would say just as reliable as the sensor on my phone. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. There's even and external battery pack that plugs into the front of the lock in case the battery dies you can get power to the lock to open it on the off chance the 2 keys provided are not accessible at the time. If needed I would buy another one. It looks exactly like the picture. Is it as secure feeling as a big giant safe from bass pro shop for 1k+ of course not but shoved into a closet and secured this things going no where.
Not sure how these manage to dampen the abrupt and loud sounds but they do. You will notice a silence that quickly returns to whatever mode you have them in. I do hear a continuous sound when wearing, almost like a white noise in the background but it is faint and I can clearly hear voices and all other sounds around me. Is quite strange wearing these for the first time, realizing how much hearing you must have already lost as these do a good job of amplifying regular noise. They are big, stick out from ears quite a bit. I joked that I look like Frankenstein. But they don't stick out anywhere near as much as my shooting headsets and I get the benefit of being able to hear. Only problem is that others who are wearing normal ear protection gear tend to speak louder and when wearing these you hear their voice as "loud". Can be almost annoying.
I bought this for my SAR 9 SOCOM compact and after dipping it in boiling water for about 5 seconds I was able to reshape and make it fit, actually fits quite well. My issue is the item I ordered looks nothing like the item depicted in the photo. I ordered the carbon fiber variant and what I received looks like just plain black with etching.
I got the Vyze-Link Cellular Trail Camera to use in my backyard. There are a lot of small animals that I like to feed and watch. I know this is probably intended for the great outdoors but us living in the city like to use them, too. It was easy to mount with the long nylon strap. It works great, and takes sharp pictures and videos with 1080p. The night vision works well too. Operating the tilt and pan on the app was very responsive. The solar panel kept it charged up all the time. I never had a problem with the battery strength. The only issue I have is that you have to use a SIM chip to use it. They give you a free 30 trial but after that it’s pretty expensive and it does not work without a subscription. I tried and tried to get it to take pictures and video on to my cell phone, but it was impossible. Because of that it was useless for me. For someone that’s really into trail cams and you’re okay with paying for a subscription, then you would love this camera. Not so much for me.
This LPVA works OK, but it definitely feels very cheap and I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable trusting my life with it. I'm sure it'll be fine for hunting, but you'd be better off with the Sig Tango MSR for a bit more money. I was just going to suck it up and just kind of keep it to myself, but this morning I was moving it from one rifle to another and the cantilever mount broke as I was tightening it. Two of the three locations where the screws go into the base tore right off, and I was just using the hand held wrench it came with. No power tools or torque wrench. Now I need to replace the mount which makes it much less of a deal. I would definitely stay away.
The pictures of the damage are from my Son dropping the rifle at the range. He went ahead and sighted it in and the scope still performed amazingly well. Of course, him and the rifle had something to do with it too. I contacted Vortex asking if I should use a wood block and hammer to knock it back in or not worry about weather intrusion and they said "Send it back". I have 6 or 7 Vortex optics and only used the warranty twice, this one was our fault. Both times the customer service has been the best I have ever experienced, the warranty is no BS and the products are amazing. I can't say enough good stuff about Vortex.
The HHC17R Micro RMSc Red Dot Sight has been an excellent addition to my setup. The 3 MOA red dot is bright, clear, and precise, which makes target acquisition incredibly fast and accurate even in various lighting conditions. Whether I’m shooting in bright daylight or lower light environments, the dot remains visible and easy to track without distraction. One of the standout features for me is the shake awake technology. It conserves battery life by automatically putting the sight into sleep mode when not in use and instantly waking it with movement. This has significantly extended battery life without compromising performance or readiness. The side-battery tray design is a smart touch, allowing me to quickly swap out batteries without tools, which is incredibly convenient during longer sessions. Compatibility with the 407k/507k footprint means it fit perfectly on my firearm, and the included Picatinny mount was solid and easy to install, providing a secure attachment. The build quality feels very robust, with a durable housing that can withstand tough conditions and consistent use. Overall, this reflex sight blends reliability, quality, and smart features seamlessly, making it a great choice for anyone needing a dependable micro red dot. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase and gladly give it 5 stars!
I like these locks. Just wish you could reverse the silicone so you can use it easily on both sides. The silicone is not needed at all so I may use them without the silicone covers. They seem secure. Have not tried to go through the airport with them.
I like this safe, seems to be very durable and heavy. It holds only one of my Glocks. It probably could hold 2 small pistols. Overall I'm happy.
I bought it as a "range toy" and it has been good in that role so far. It is mounted on a popular 556 sporting rifle and has held zero after a few magazines. Another review mentioned that the backlit color glows around the perimeter of the ring inside the viewfinder. I also experienced this and do agree that it detracts from the usability in low light conditions. I primarily bought this to use the unlit crosshairs to magnify and reach out further at the range. I don't hunt, but I think this scope would be useful for realistic deer and small game hunting with or without the fancy colors being added to the black crosshairs. If I had to buy again, I would probably opt to spend less for one without the backlit feature as the ring is distracting and could affect low light target acquisition and accuracy. Aside from that, the adjustments for elevation and windage worked and allowed me to get on the bullseye. The flip up lens covers are kind of janky and I just take them off at the range instead of trying to keep them on in the flipped up position. They don't stay on well when flipped up or to the side and are just in the way. They do work, but I don't prefer to use them as intended other than to protect the glass while in storage or transport.
Received this scope this week. It came in faster than expected. I was able to mount and sight in right away. I attached a daytime video with zoom. 1 picture of NV with stock 940IR and 1 picture of NV with 850IR. The scope seems very durable. The functions on scope are easy to use. Zoom using the left side zoom wheel. The top buttons operate power/standby, video recording, and day/night switch with PIP capability. Picture quality is amazing with vivid colors during the day and NV seems to only require low light so the NV picture is good, With the 850IR the NV is extremely clear, and targets are defined. On shot zero is great and saves on ammo at the range. Menu option is very easy to maneuver and make changes. Only downsides are the stock 940IR no being bright or clear enough, the Wi-Fi option has to be connected each time you power up, not auto connect. Lastly there is no ballistics info to enter like ATN to adjust your shot at various ranges. The app is easy to use and access your pictures or videos. Overall, I would recommend this scope if you are looking into night vision and daytime hunting. I returned the ATN 4k Pro after comparing the two side by side. The price point is great for this scope.
Overall, very pleased with this gun safe. Very sternly made. Everything works just like it should. The only problem I had is when it arrived. The lid seem to be slightly bent. And it is made of such sturdy construction. There is no way to bend it, or adjust it to where it closes firmly. Company promptly Sent me a new gun safe, perfect condition, however, today I tried to charge it since it was fully charged when it came and unable to get it to charge tried several different cord
