Okay people...my original scope was delivered used and damaged. It was a PITA to exchange. No fault of Arken, but ngclab.com. Only reason for 4 star rating was because of ngclab.com. With that said, the scope is AMAZING. CZ 457 Varmint (not a match barrel), bulk (nothing special) 22lr ammo produced a 0.395" 5 shot group @ 50 yds (IT TOOK 3 SHOTS TO ZERO THE SCOPE). Same rifle, same ammo, different scope was producing 0.765" groups @ 50yds. The purpose for the purchase was to shoot 200 yd 22lr steel matches. Smallest target is 4" @200. The Arken, CZ, cheap bulk ammo, and I qualified with the first 10 shots inside of 3 inches on a 90* 10-15mph wind day. Thank you Arken for communicating with me until the issue was resolved. I will be purchasing a second Arken scope in the very near future.
Fantastic day/night optic. Period. Love the ability to have a scope with multiple zero profiles. Also love that you can zero at pretty much any range and the built-in calculator takes care of the work. The only lacking feature is a QD mount. These scopes really shine when you can dope them on many rifles and just swap the scope around. If you need a QD mount for this scope, TierOne makes a very nice one that I will likely end up getting at some point. For now, I am using the American Defense AD-ETECH-R STD. It's designed for an Eotech, but it holds the Zulus very nice and tight, just like you would expect from American Defense. I love all my American Defense mounts, they all hold zero really well. The Zulus app has been very solid and functional. I used it to zero my optic and program ballistic data. It's a nice app with all the features you would want. Recoil activated video and audio recording is great. 1080P in the eye piece and HD video recordings. Definitely going to invest in a sun shade for this thing. Product is a home run.
I wish they were heavier but they are nice looking and good quality.
I suppose in my case, I would prefer it without the fiber optic rear sights, though those could come in handy for some. The glass is clear and the dot is well-defined. I was able to mount and bore-sight on my AR no problem. The elevation adjustment has clicks and the windage does not. Some of the other manufacturers have this backwards. Comes with a spare battery and functions as described.
These targets are great! Shot 62 grn 5.56 at 15 yards and no issue. Most are 9mm, even the one that hit the frame. Frame still held though throughout the day. Highly recommend following the manual so targets are at an angle. Just have to worry about splash taking off paint on the frames. Finally have a truck but have gone shooting with a versa for years. Disassembly only took a few minutes and great for small storage. Once built, will only take minutes to reassemble.
Bought this after seeing another person at the range with this item. Only used it once, worked as intended. The directions indicate to use at 100 yards for .223 but the range we were at did not accommodate 100 yards. The range was 50 yards but we could not put the target all the way to the 50 yard distance either due to mud. See photos, was used at 30 yards. This target took over 100 rounds of .223 and 100 of 22 caliber as well. The small swinging target held up well also. There was 1 point where it was in the middle position and due to a hit on the larger target it popped out, but other than that it was perfect. I will repaint it for the next trip to the range. So far so good!
I've recently gotten a couple different rifle safes as my young nieces have been coming to visit, and it's easier to throw the rifles in these as opposed to making sure they don't wander into my bedroom and poke about. As with all of these budget safes, that is the about the extent that these keep rifles safe. If someone is taking the time to burglarize your home, unless this is mounted to a wall/floor all this does is allow them to take the safe with them to open at their leisure. Granted, they'd need a vehicle to haul this away loaded with rifles, however it is a possibility. All that aside, this is great for just keeping little hands, or others from accessing rifles without permission/supervision. Definitely recommend if you have little ones.
I got it to transport to multiple handguns. Before I was taking them in separate boxes and it was very inconvenient as you needed to watch them on the range, loop each box security cord around the back seat mount in a car (state law) and carry those small boxes in a big bag to and out of the car. This case solves it. It can take up to 5 handguns and 17 magazines. Foam is quite soft, so joined slots can easily take revolvers as well. Magazines fit perfectly as well. Case has lock holes on both sides which is more secure than having a single lock hole in the middle. Plus your hand is not getting slapped with the lock when you are walking. Two TSA approved code locks are included. Also included a reusable desiccant box. Once in a quarter you need to throw it into a convection oven to dry it up. The desiccant is optional. I just store the case in a dry location. It also has a nice handle with rubber grip. Latches have lock buttons, so the case will never open by itself if you happen to bump it into some obstacle while walking.
This little unit is well, a unit! Thin but solid walls, 3/4 inch diameter lag bolts in the recessed closure door. The door is thick and its interior has two holsters and three small storage shelves, which are pretty handy. The slotted rifle organizers are made of a dense foam, and they simply squeeze-fit at whatever height you want to set them at, and they stay out pretty well. The two smaller upper shelves are also nice, useful, and removable. The keypad works great, sensitivity seems on point, and the silent mode is a nice feature to hush the beeps. The keys are also a nice failsafe. There are mounting holes in the base/floor as well as the rear wall. You'll definitely want to anchor this unit as it has a small footprint and the door is fairly heavy. It WILL TIP OVER if the door is open and the safe is empty or not mounted but don't worry because mounting hardware is included. I purchased this unit with the intention of keeping my extra gear, ammo, and a couple of guns away from my toddler. If theft prevention or fire safety is your reason for a safe, get an actual safe. But this thing is great for keeping your gear out of the wrong hands or if your main safe needs a backup/spillover storage solution! Highly recommended!
The kit came in a nicely packaged padded case with good quality aluminum parts. The quality of the camera holder and picatinny mount were very good. The instructions are horrible…they are impossibly small to read and do not cover any of the settings or functions in the app. The ngclab.com listing actually had more useful information than the instructions. I couldn’t find any links or QR codes in the instructions to download the correct app for my phone so I had to google the manufacturer and download the three apps that came up on the App Store. Two of the three worked but I finally figured out what app was correct ( its called IR Explorer). I got this camera specifically because it came with the picatinny mount for my riffle. Unfortunately the instructions come with zero information on how to install the camera in the mount. All the hardware was included, but it took much trial and error to get the mount and camera to works. Not totally sure if I did it correctly, but it was solidly mounted and worked. After I got everything assembled and the correct app on my phone, I was blown away by how good the image looked when the HD feature was used. I saw other reviews that said the picture was blurry; this was because they didn’t realize the lens is adjustable. You only need to turn the lens to focus. After fiddling it around with the settings and figuring out what worked best for me, I was very happy with the image quality and long range performance. I could see 500 yards out on my property easily. The video footage I have included does not do what you actually see justice; the picture looks much better in person. I took the camera out the next night to do some tests (I live on 9000 acres in the rural Northern Nevada). The camera was awesome and worked great…for about 10 minutes. Out of nowhere, the screen went blurry and pixelated. The camera was toast. I tried to reset the app and reconnect the cable, but noting worked. I was bummed. I tried to contact customer service, but the link provided in the instructions is a WhatsApp link. I didn’t want to go down that route as there is clearly something wrong with the hardware that can’t be fixed with any amount of troubleshooting. The durability and reliability is a real concern for me. I am sending it back to ngclab.com and have requested a refund. I’m debating on getting another one, but I’m skeptical of it actually working long term. I think for my use, I’m better off getting a name brand monocular or riffle scope that has proven reliability. If I decide to get a replacement, I will update my review. It’s very possible I just got a bad camera.
hi there folks mounted scope on a older Beeman R10 great price well built for the $$. i just sighted in in this afternoon not bad!! ready to aim for tonite.
I couldn't find any holsters for the Taurus 605 with 3" barrel, so I gambled on this one. I was not let down. This is a really well made holster and it fits the 605 like it was made for it. The only spot it doesn't hug the pistol is the cylinder but that's because the 856 has a larger cylinder for 6 shots, but it really doesn't effect functionality. I recommend
Very satisfied customer here. The 2moa/65moa circle dot reticle in this thing is really amazing and extremely crisp! I couldn't really get a picture that does it justice but trust me when I say it is very.. .very... nice! Will probably never look elsewhere for a red dot cause this is a bargain for what you're getting. I haven't mounted it and used it on my AR yet but I'm pretty darn sure the reliability performance of Sig Sauer will not let me down. If I'm wrong I will certainly update this review accordingly. Be well and God Bless America 🇺🇸
These pants are excellent. The pockets lay flat! The pockets all have velcro flaps, and unlike many cargo pants, these pocket flaps lay flat. The pockets have billows to expand, but they do not puff out. I really like the adjustable waist straps. They use a plastic tab that hooks into the loops with ease and holds strong. I like that this is plastic and lays flat. It works much better than waist tabs made of cloth that curl out and get in the way after a few washes. I like the cut, it has gussets at the crotch, expandable stretch panels at the knees and back of the waist that add comfort and make these easy to wear all day. I like the wide velcro flaps at the cuffs and the knees to tighten the legs as needed. The front pockets have a high cut that is more secure, deep, and can be difficult to get my hand inside. I used the side pocket for my phone, the front pockets were too difficult to retrieve my items from. Includes 2-layer knee pads that insert into the knees. These are a bit of a challenge to insert and get seated correctly. Can be set with the plastic showing or covered behind the velcro flap. These knee pads are good for kneeling outside. They take some time to put in or remove. Great value for the price. These pants solve many of the issues with older fatigues. The material is good quality. It is durable without being overly stiff or heavy. It isn’t too loud as I walk. I am pleased with these pants. Impressive function.
One of like every 4 photos shows corrupt. Tried switching SD cards 3 different times and same thing. Not sure what the deal is but won't be buying more. I don't need a camera that only works sometimes.
