I have been wanting to check out a cell trail cam for some time and decided to give this one a go. This camera has many positive aspect going it's way. It comes with a SD and Sim card already installed. The directions provide very little detail on options other than download the app and follow prompts. I experienced no issues syncing the camera with the app once I had my account created. It comes with 300 mb of free data transfer but the documentation and description didn't provide any further information. When you setup the camera, it takes a couple of minutes to activate the sim card but I am still not completely sure which carrier it is using. It mentions AT&T, Verizon, and you can bring your own sim card but there is very little documentation about this process. Whatever carrier the camera is using, it seems to be working fine in the hills of Southern Ohio. The documentation doesn't discuss rates either but you can find this information in the App which breaks down to: 1 GB/30 Days $9.99, 3 GB / 30 Days $15.99, 6 GB/180 Days $49.99 or 6 GB / 360 Days $54.99. The amount of data used will vary but I have had the camera up for 2 days now and have already made most my way through the 300 mb just trying to figure out features. I don't know if the phone connects to the camera every time you use the app but I do find you could go through data pretty quickly. There is no clear setting of Video vs Still pictures but when I look at event history I just see pictures currently. You are able to view the camera live through the app also. The camera offers an option of IR for night vision or LED lights to light up the area. It comes set to Auto by default but I would recommend changing this to IR if you are using for a trail camera. It has another checkbox to play a siren when movement is detected to scare off whatever but at least this is off by default. A setting I am used to seeing on other standard trail cameras is a 15, 30, 45 second delay between pictures so you don't just keep getting pictures of the same thing if it is hanging around in the area for a bit. I have not found any setting similar to this on this device. If you have a deer hanging around a feeder for awhile, you could use up a lot of data just on the same deer. It is nice that the rechargeable battery seems to stay pretty charged through the solar panel. I also like the motorized turret style camera so you can pan the image if you need to focus on something at a different angle without being there. The camera housing left no area to be able to run a cable lock through which was easily remedied drilling the preexisting hole a the top of the body just a little larger but I don't understand why many manufacturers don't think of this feature when making the body of their device to allow it to be locked securely. The software does indicate that you can link multiple cameras into the same plan if desired. I was also able to share the camera with a friend pretty easily once he downloaded the app and created an account. The quality of the photos have been pretty good with most action so far occurring at night. The image itself doesn't have the time and date stamp on it like many trail cameras but you have this information in the app while you browse the images. Overall, I would say this is a good start from a security camera company producing a trail camera but there are some other key features (ie. picture delay segments, clear photo vs video setting) and concerns for limiting data usage that can still be addressed to make it better and more affordable.
Hands Down the best PCP for the money
So many pockets comes with the rain cover looks and feel durable, comfortable, can hold a camel pack bladder.
I got this scope in hopes of being able to use it for fast short range shooting and medium ranges. For the price point this is a good scope. Its not a true 1x scope. Its more of a 1.5 magnification on 1. The eye box is ok and will be satisfactory for many people unless this is going to be used as a duty scope for law enforcement or military. If the eye box was better I would have given 5 stars. The 8 power is nice and helps zero at 100 yards. I like that the reticle illuminates and is etched into the glass for when its not illuminated as well.
I definitely think the laser has a good fit and finish on the p365 it's designed for, and the button placement is in the perfect spot for my finger's resting place prior to placing it on the trigger. It was also easy to mount and simple to adjust the windage and elevation when aligning with my factory iron sights. That's the good stuff, the questionable thing for me, right now, is the overall battery life. The button goes from green to blue to red, depending on the life remaining, which is a handy feature. What's concerning is that it's already at the mid power remaining color of blue(see image). I've only used it for sight alignment and a few on/off toggling when I was doing some unholstering with dry firing to test it keeping zero using those movements. It does come with a spare battery, but still, at this rate of depletion, it might not have any juice when the time comes I need to use it for real. I sincerely hope it's not draining by just sitting there in the off position, but time will tell, of course. For now, I will give it a good 4 stars for the sleek design quality of the unit itself, and like I mentioned initially, the very exceptional button placement. I just can't provide a wholehearted recommendation until I've given the unit a couple weeks to see what happens with the standby power levels. Thank you.
The cleaning kit comes in a nice hard plastic carrying case. It comes with a chart that lists all the accessories that are included in the package. This is very useful because some stuff I did not know what they are for. The gun/rifle stand is very useful. They snap into the case, and are very sturdy. The stand is not meant for smithing work, just for cleaning use. There are so many accessories to fit all size calipers.
I like everything about this safe, easy to mount and well built. Great looking with smooth operation.
Have 2 of these dots. Through one on my M&P Metal and one on my PDP Pro. Have shot a total of 250rds through each without a malfunction. Dot holds zero after racking off the dot, drawing from holster and being slammed around. Time will tell but happy with the purchase so far for the range. The dot seems to be good quality, clicks for adjustments, cover when not in use, shake wake feature and comes with multiple screws for your sizing needs. RMR mount just FYI. I will update review if something changes over time.
Great fit works well. Excited to get it sighted and put it to the test.
The CVLIFE brand is one of those overseas brands with surprisingly good quality. I own bipods from caldwell, magpul, and fabtech, and this "CVLIFE Bipod for Rifle Bipod Compatible with M-Rail" is my new favorite. It's thick aluminum with heavy-duty polymer leg extensions. As you can see in the pictures, all adjustments are independently adjustable so you can shoot on unlevel ground. The poly-aluminum leg combo is better than aluminum on aluminum as they are way quieter and smoother to extend and retract. I also love the big twist knob for pan and tilt lock down. Mlok rail compatible only. Just get it. I'm ordering for the rest of my Mlok compatible rifles and hope to see a version that will attach to a shoulder strap stud as well.
The only negative thing he said was he wished he bought one sooner.
Screws are missing, checked the pictures there are in one of the pictures, but was missing in the bag.
This shot timer from ZOHAN is awesome! And affordable! It’s so easy to use and the set up was a breeze. It is super simple. There are 4 modes to choose from. Instant and Delay start and then each of these settings with a PAR mode. Which is a programmable time limit you set for yourself. Then do your best to hit all your targets within this time frame. This timer then provides you all the data you need to track your progress. It’s perfect for training. When I’m alone, the delay feature is great! I love the accuracy, as well as the sensitivity. It picks up all my shots. Nothing is missed. This timer is also very durable, but light weight. It clips right onto your belt if you are mobile or you can set it near you when stationary. The screen is really bright and easy to read. It’s easy to see during the day. Just for fun, we tried it out with the kids green gas airsoft equipment. It worked great with that too! Highly recommend this unit!
Like the quality of the build and nice packaging,
Swung the bat and ordered this item, needed to replace the older scope and wanted something with the 3 varieties that came with it. I have not zeroed it or shot any rounds with good weather or bad weather but im pleased with this scope. The laser, holographic scope and zoom scope was an easy mount. Works as described and had no problems.
