  • It’s perfect for the price I purchased my first gun last week and this is the perfect fit for it. I feel like it’s secure in this safe because of the build quality and screw holes it has to screw it down. The finger print mechanism works great and if you don’t like that it’s has a password function and key hole. I would recommend this to someone who got their first gun and wants to keep it safe and secure away from children but at the ready for a life and death situation.

  • The placement of battery towards the front prevents the rear screws from securing the unit evenly to the slide. The battery protrudes about a 16th of an inch past the bottom of the sight, as the screws which are towards the rear are tightened the front lifts up. The down adjustment on the sight does not have enough adjustment to lower the sight red dot to be on target. I had to rig the mounting using silicon and nylon washers between the screws and slide to level the sight to slide. Even with this, as its tightened the front stills lifts up, but barely in tolerance to get the dot on target. Also without the rig if the screws are tightened more than snug the unit would go full to max brightness and not allow intensity adjustment, the screws need to be left snug, i think somehow the unit warps when the screws are tight causing some distortion on its circuit board. Also, the red dot is not that defined. I have this on a 22 for target practice and would not use this if reliability is a priority. I have several other brands of units at higher cost, but they are very much better in all areas than this unit. For the future I would never purchase a sight with a battery on the bottom as this is the main cause of the problems.

  • This gunslinger western style gun belt is an excellent choice for the casual user. If you are a actor or stunt person who needs to wear this every day, then you should look elsewhere, but if you will only wear this a few times a season, then it will be just fine. The belt fit me great, and I'm somewhere between a 34 to a 36 with a low riding gun belt. I adjusted it and set up the leg wrap so it doesn't pull up when you draw. There was plenty of cord, and it is plenty strong, and presents no issues. The only issue I had with the belt was the part where two belts were sewn together, using a cross-hatch pattern on both sides. This join is what will fail first on this belt, but it is something that you can repair when it does. The leather is great quality for the price, thought it will show nicks and scratches pretty easily. I used the holster for that it is designed for: quick draw of a six-shooter. I used two different pistols, one with a four inch barrel, and another with a six inch barrel, and both worked fine, and sat well within the holster. One issue, is that the six inch barrel pistol has raised adjustable sights, and these sights cut into the leather during re-insertion into the holster, and scrape a bit on draw. I included photos of the results of one hundred quick draws, and what it has done to the leather of the holster at the point where the sight rubs against the edge. You can clearly see the leather becoming gouged, so I imagine with another 1,000 draws, it will have notch cut out at that spot. Something to be aware of, but I won't take a star because at the time of ordering, this pistol belt was under $80. What a bargain! Five Star Budge Priced Low Riding Western Style Pistol Rig

  • Changed my original review after taking a photo using my phone camera as suggested. The dot looks flawless. My eyes need an upgrade 🤣

  • This tactical hearing protection headset with a military U94 connector is an outstanding piece of gear. The build quality is exceptional and versatile. I was able to remove the ear cups from the original headband and seamlessly mount them using Peltor Comtac arc rail mounts, which are fully compatible. The military-grade connector is another highlight—it’s a true military configuration, not civilian. This is important because the positive audio out and microphone in are reversed between military and civilian push-to-talk setups. Make sure you get a military-oriented push-to-talk or risk hearing faint or no audio at all. I’ve tested this headset in rugged environments, including out on the range and in bad weather, and it has exceeded my expectations. The gel ear cups are incredibly comfortable for extended use, resist deterioration, and hold up well in wet conditions. They don’t generate much heat during use, but I appreciate that they can be removed to cool off if necessary. The electronic hearing protection is fantastic. The communications function works without batteries when plugged in via the jack. However, to hear your surroundings, you’ll need to insert a AA battery into each ear cup. There are four ambient sound levels, and while the lowest level is slightly louder than I’d prefer, it’s not a dealbreaker. This headset enhances your hearing to a level beyond natural ability, making faint sounds clear and conversations easy in loud environments. Additionally, loud bangs are muted effectively to prevent over-amplification. Overall, this headset offers impressive performance, durability, and versatility. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable hearing protection with communication capabilities.

  • What an awesome rack for my gear room

  • My family has really enjoyed the giant axe throwing game. It can be used by the kiddos and by adults. It's safe for the kids and it's easy to setup. The axes stick very well to the target and it's hard to miss with the size of this thing. The included air pump is excellent as well. I set it up to test it in my living room with the intent to take it right back down; however, my kids were having so much fun with it that it has been up for over a week inside. It's easy to play and is fun for the whole family! I definitely recommend.

  • This is my first trail camera, however it's got all the right features and quality on point with the brands I've seen in stores. Here are the highlights: +good image quality in day and night modes, still and video +multiple sensors and IR lights and easy to adjust settings to delay image capture although it took some trial and error to get the timing dialed in to my liking +3 power sources, built in rechargeable lithium, external solar, and optional AA +sturdy build quality, good gaskets for waterproof durability +have had it outside in 15*F / -10*C with no loss of function +includes 32gb SD card, and hardware for permanent mount or strap to a tree Overall happy with the product, haven't noticed any drawbacks worth mentioning.

  • I have some Peltor comtac Ivs and they were around $450+. I’ve always had an extra cheap set of Howard Leights. They worked ok, but Jesus the hard ear surrounds were junk. However the sound was always great. Adding these gels to the Howard’s make them actually comparable to my comtacs. These are absolutely worth every penny and you need to buy them now for your Howard leights. Seriously will lower the decibels atleast 10db compared to the factory. Especially if you wear sunglasses or glasses. 10/10 would recommend

  • This is a very good camera and at the price it's a terrific value. Having said that, it is not without some shortcomings. First the good: Daytime image quality is excellent - very sharp with accurate color reproduction. Nighttime image quality is not as sharp but that is to be expected from infrared cameras. Motion is detected at distances of at least 65 feet as specified. The deer in the attached video are about 65-70 feet from the camera. Since being installed, the camera has been out during several snow storms, thick fog, and three heavy, wind driven rain storms with no water leakage. Setup and configurations is easy. Build quality is good. Now, the not so good: The IR lights are specified to work at distances up to 65 feet. In my experience, the actual useful range is closer to 40-50 feet that. At further distances about all you can see are the eyes and a black silhouette of the animal. You can tell the shape and size, but not much more than that. In general, the user manual is very good, but I found one shortcoming that caused me to think that my camera had a failure. There is a section describing how to test the sensing angle and distance. In test mode, a red LED flashes when motion is detected. Thinking I was being clever, I devised a way to test the center and side PIR sensors independently by covering the center PIR and approaching from each side. The red LED did not blink which I assumed meant they didn't work. I sent an e-mail to the manufacturer explaining this. I was pleasantly surprised when the next morning I received an e-mail telling me what the side PIR sensors do. They wake up the camera from standby mode so that when motion is detected by the center PIR the camera is ready to begin capturing images & video. They do not cause the red LED to flash in test mode. This should have been better explained in the manual and I shared my ideas for improvement to prevent others from drawing the same conclusion as me. Again, response from Meidase customer support was prompt and appreciative of my suggestions. I have not had the camera long enough to comment on battery life. However, I can tell you that when the temperature is very low, even new batteries to not produce enough power to record video for more than a few seconds. In actual use low battery was detected after 3 seconds of video recorded at night and at 7 degrees F. Battery power and camera operation returned to normal once it got warmer.

  • Got this to put my carry in...Was easy to program bio-metric pad,was a little more difficult to program keypad but got it done, also has keys and a plug to power it if batteries go dead...Mounted easily to the top of my dresser, came with mounting screws and anchors but I used 1 1/4" bolts and pan washers to mount it.Great little safe for the money!!!

  • These nods are amazing, the battery’s are changeable, you need to unscrew the tube from the swivel and you’ll see a watch battery, pop it out and replace it and you all good, these things are 100% worth it!

  • First, the comments that this bag was constructed substantially and the padlocks on the gun bag are a great idea and are the main reason I purchased the bag. Second, I would love to give this bag a five-star rating, but for the below reasons, I can only give it a two-star rating. I have included photos to support my rating decision. 1- This bag is a cat and dog hair magnet. My other gun bags or backpacks have yet to collect cat or dog hair. 2- The supports at the bottom of the bag that create three dividers for different guns are weak and fold with little weight above them. A- I liked the storage area above the gun locker, but all I had in this area was a small bag with my USB, Type C connectors and two wall chargers. B- The other three pencil-sized bags had my checkbooks, wallets, and keys to three vehicles. 3- One of the reasons I bought this bag is that one of the comments stated it would hold a full-size pistol/handgun. While true, one must remove the support dividers to make this happen. Doing this weakens the support for the storage area above and eliminates your dividers. 4- I liked how I could use the three dividers to store my gun in the middle, ammo, magazine loaders, extra magazines on the right side, a small cleaning kit, and my knives on the left side. Sadly, much improvement needs to be committed to this bag to make it worth the $129.00 asking price. As for now, I will transition it to a range bag instead of my daily carry bag. Shane H.

Update 4/18/24: I have had this red dot since March of 2023. I have shot probably 3000 rounds through my shield plus with this red dot installed. It has never lost zero. This is not my carry gun and seems to go through batteries every six months. My only complaint is the battery life. I have not drop tested it yet or been real rough with the red dot. Seems very reliable and you just need to watch your battery life. Very good purchase. This is by far the best Vortex red dot yet. Now, that's not saying much. I have this mounted on a shield plus. Pros: It appears to be a very solid optic. There are some brutal torture tests on Youtube for this optic. The top load battery is amazing! The amazing included screws, seriously all optics should come with this. The included tool is nice. The glass is clear, the site picture is amazing. It co-witnesses just fine with the factory shield plus sights. The dot is super bright! Cons: The dot is very low res, it's crisp. The blinking can be annoying though. The windage and elevation turrets click, but it is not very audible and not tactile at all. The 14 hour auto shut off is very weird. Most dots are an hour or less. I will never understand that time frame and that definitely has an impact on the battery life. I have shot about 300 rounds so far with this on the shield plus and it has held zero no problem. The flickering led emitter is kind of annoying, but it hasn't impacted my shooting. Based on the built quality alone, I will keep it. If the only bad thing is that the battery lasts a year and it flickers, I won't have much to complain about. Update: Six months in and no issues, battery just died. Having the battery die within six months is not great. I do not carry this and I would have thought it would have lasted longer. Luckily the batteries are cheap and top load.

  • Works as it should. I have not had a chance to check the claimed 1200 yard range, but it works accurately out to 200 yards for sure. The size is great and smaller than my older one with an ability to check longer ranges. Easy to use. I would recommend if you have the need.
