   First, I only rate exceptional products as 5-Star products. 3 Stars is an average product that does what it is designed to do. I add a star for excellent value or excellent quality; for both, it gets 5 Stars. However, there is a bit of subjectiveness to this; an item may be rated as 5-Stars against similar items in its price range, but it would never stand a chance against a 3-Star item in a much higher price range. Initially, I did not have a lot of enthusiasm over this scope. When I got around to opening the box and setting it up for a day at the range, I was a bit surprised that the light transmission for this 25.4mm tub surprised me. I was expecting darkness to abound. In fact, light transmission, clarity and adjustability all scored well with my testing. By adjustability, I mean that I was able to use the ocular focus to easily adjust to my old eyes and then my wife, in turn, adjusted it to her needs. The setting did not move until physically moved by she or I. The Adjustable Objective also stayed put after being set and again I was really surprised at how clear and sharp the target was. It was tested on the 50 and 100 yard range. Now, I don’t know how well it will hold up to centerfire rifle use over time, but it did just fine atop a 5.56x45mm Modern Sporting Rifle. I then moved it to a 10-22 and that is where it looked like it was at home and where it will stay. It does have an illuminated reticle but we did not use it. However, if anything occurs that reduces my confidence in this riflescope to perform as the plinker scope that it was designed as, I will definitely update this review. It is a 4-Star Scope when compared to others in the sub-$100 range.

   I grabbed this scope for a .22LR rifle and just wanted something cheap to plink with. I was really surprised by the optical clarity of the glass, very nice for the price! Also notable was that the turrets clicked smoothly and also the parallax adjuster and magnification adjustment are really smooth and don’t feel sort of “sticky” like other scopes in this price range that I’ve owned. Having illumination at this price is pretty nice, too. This scope will be great for .22LRs and airguns for plinking and hunting.

   Scope mounts came all jacked up and required me scratching them to be able to make it work. Does not come with a battery for the scope nor tells you what kind to get.

   Really a great scope for the price, the quality is very similar to my primary arms scopes. Perfect for a plinker, airgun, or airsoft.
   Glass is clear, turret adjustment is crisp, and it holds zero so far.
   Only complaint is the mounts aren’t great, but that’s pretty typical even for more expensive scopes. Do yourself a favor and get some decent mounts to go with it.

   I have used these on many air rifles and have very good luck with them but when I mounted it on a hatsan 135qe 30 cal the cross hairs turned on me looking like a X in the scope. Unfortunately I’m passed the return date . Also I was not even able to zero the scope 3 shots and scope failed.i would buy another one and put on another air rifle.my other 3 that I bought have had hundreds of shots through these scopes and very happy.the hatsan 135 30 cal is to much for this scope.or maybe I just received a bad scope.anyhow that’s my review.hope it helps someone
