   I had inherited a pair of military grade binoculars from a family member. They were very expensive and worked amazingly well. I donated them to my local law enforcement. I thought they were more important for them to use when needed.

   I always missed having them after I donated them. I saw these binoculars and decided to give them a try. They really are not binoculars. They are hand held and you look at a screen on the back of them. They seem like they are made well and of good quality. They work very well in the dark and allow you to see even the littlest things in the dark.

   The lighted buttons on top are excellent for use in the dark. They allow making changes to the settings simple and easy in the dark. The binoculars are pretty lightweight and waterproof which is great for outdoor use. Very cool night vision technology for the cost.

   Works pretty darn well! The preview screen works well at night. During the day its a little dim but usable. The night vision works well and you can see into pitch black corners pretty well. I think for me the correct usage of something like this is as wearable goggles, but as a hand held unit it can be useful too. The limited field of view is probably the biggest issue but its still a cool piece of tech and can help you see animals or whatever in the dark.

   These took me a minute to figure out, but I am in love with them now. I have absolutely no real reason to have them, but I thought they were cool so I got them. The picture is incredible at night, the focus is great, and they’re easy to operate once you figure them out. They’re a bit on the larger side, but that’s not really an issue. Overall, I would say if you have a need for these, they’re totally worth it.

   I really like the manual focus. I was able to focus past the fence in the foreground to make the background clearer in the attached photo. If you have the camera zoomed out, I recommend placing the goggles on a steady surface to take a snapshot. It is easy to blur the image when the goggles are not supported. The controls are pretty easy to learn. The display screen is a good size and has a clear image. The infrared light has 3 intensities for different focal lengths. The case is molded so the goggles will not be jarred if dropped. A neck strap is included however it does not fit in the storage case and has no way to attach it to the outside. I was able to connect the goggles to our Macintosh computer easily to download images. Yes, there could be improvements however it is a good entry level set at a decent price.

   If you are expecting military grade night vision at this price, you shouldn’t and you won’t get it. These night vision goggles do work but I can only describe them as a bit of a novelty. Fun to have on occasion but not really the most practical or useful device. If this was a wearable set of goggles, I could see them being much more useful but given the very small view screen on these, along with the very limited field of view, they seem more like a cool little toy/gadget that will likely not get used very often. But they do work. Apologies for the blurry night picture, the view screen is not actually blurry, it was just difficult to take a decent picture while holding the goggles. I may find these more useful when I am actually out in nature. I am doing a three-week glamping/work trip in April, and I will give these a try during that trip and update my review, along with some better pictures but as of now, I will say that these are pretty cool goggles, mostly limited by the small field of view, so as long as you realize this, you will likely have some fun with these.

   This 4K Night Vision Goggle work well. It is a budget friendly option to have on hand either to check out the yard at night or to take camping. The goggles are lightweight, so easy to include in our backpacks. They have good battery life, lasting through multiple uses. It also includes a 32GB card. But best is the image clarity – works great. Both my son and I like using these.
