   We installed this trail camera near the gate at the edge of our backyard, which borders a wooded slope. The main reason was to keep an eye out for wildlife that might wander into the yard, especially since we keep chickens. The camera is sensitive, it sends an alert to my phone when something gets close to the gate, and I can check the live feed. The night vision works to see what’s moving around after dark. I like that it doesn’t need to be plugged in, so the solar panel setup works fine in this spot as long as there’s sunlight. It’s been through some pretty wet and snowy weather recently, and so far it’s working regularly.

   I recently picked up this Trail Camera with 4G LTE. It streams in 2.7K resolution, which is sharper than regular HD.    First off this camera works well. It captures a wide area as in my video I was out of frame with a flashlight and it picked that up. Video and pics are good quality and it is easy to setup. Having said that the SIM card is built in and there is no way to use your own, so they gig you on the renewal of the card. Cheapest plan is $169.9 USD for 12 months which works out to $14.15 per month. By the month you are talking $20 per month which is high in my opinion. Also, this camera will not work without an active SIM card even storing locally to an SD card. It also will not work if no SD card is inserted. The biggest downfall to this camera is it will not even work as a standard save to SD card device if your SIM card is not active. The signal quality for me was very spotty as well. I had to walk around the backyard for an hour to find a good cell level. They only give you about a month of SIM card usage when you sign up as well which is ridiculous. I personally, am very dissatisfied with this due to how you can not even use it as a offline device to save to SD. Would not recommend.

   I got this trail game camera to monitor outside on my yard and it’s been a great tool so far. It was easy to setup, especially with the solar panel to keep it powered.

   So I didn’t have to worry about constantly changing batteries, which is a plus, but I gave it a full charge before installing it outside.

   The camo design looks nice, the camera blends in well with the surroundings, and so far, it has been handling quite well being outdoors.

   The motion detection works great, every time something moves, I get a notification on my phone, and the image quality is good, even at night, therefore, I am quite satisfied with this camera.
