   My wife and I both got one for our nightstands. Overall I feel like it’s a well made night stand safe. The finger scanner seems to work pretty well compared to others I’ve used in the past and easy to set up. The phone charger on top works well. They have a battery backup and a key in case you need to use it if the power goes out. The light inside the safe is also really nice.

   The cons that I have found with it:

   A minor inconvenience is it’ll only let you set up time in the 24 hour time aka military time.

   The biggest issue I have is that the display is way too bright to the point where I have to turn it away when I sleep. I have not seen anywhere in the manual to be able to dim it. There is a function where it turns off the display and you can touch the screen to display it temporarily but this function doesn’t work well. Would be really nice if there was a way to just dim it a bit.

   Overall I am happy with the quality and functionality of it.

   This thing is seriously impressive. The fingerprint reader picks up instantly—it’s like the second you touch it, it’s open. No delays, no errors. The touchpad is whisper-quiet, which I love because I can get into it late at night without making a sound. That little LED light inside is super helpful too—gives just enough visibility to see what you’re doing without being blinding. I had a minor hiccup figuring out the wireless charging, but their support team was amazing. They didn’t rush me, explained everything in detail, and even mentioned that certain phone cases could cause interference. It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had.    Safe seems cool. Do not buy this if you intend on charging anything. I’ve done everything the company stated and it still does not work. There’s an internal issue with the wireless charging pad.

   Update: Save your money and buy a Vaultek. I thought I may get by and save a few bucks but the Vaultek is 100x better. I just set it up, the quality of the safe and the security and app features are amazing. The real reviews show the Grimtron to have deficiencies with charging your devices.

   My comments are very much the same as some other reviews. I very happy with the safe, as a safe, this is great! Very sturdy, solid, and heavy. Room enough for my Springfield Echelon. The fingerprint sensor works fast and is reliable. Silent mode is a great feature too. So I was happy to use this option. The interior light is a plus. Easy to setup and use.

   The unit was packed securely and was undamaged. Substantial describes the feel of the unit, heavy without being too heavy. The setup was easy to do and the screen was clear and bright. I did not find it to be too bright and if needed, you can just have it time out until you press a key. The fingerprints were stored on first attempt (watch video for example). The key worked easily as a great backup. I installed batteries and used the provided power adapter, additionally I used the USB ports on back to test and found no issues. The beeps are easy to turn off for quieter entry. I don’t typically use wireless charging I did set my cell on the pad (LG V60) and charging began immediately. Charging from 94% to full took 18 min. In summary, I found the setup easy by reading the manual first then setting up. The screen is clear and readable (nice touch with temp and humidity). While the unit only uses the 24hour clock I am a vet and all my clocks are set as such. Opening is fast and the unit is lined nicely to protect items stored inside. The interior light is just right and the space is perfect for my full sized handgun and 2 magazines. All in all a great bedside gun safe, but would store anything that fits safely. The provided security cable is robust and the mounting hardware is stout as well. I fully recommend this product.

Another very practical feature is that by pressing and holding the number “1” key, you can turn off the beeping sound, enabling silent operation that won’t disturb your family — very user-friendly.
   The size of the safe is just right (12.72 x 9.45 x 3.35 inches) — compact enough not to take up much space, yet spacious enough to store a handgun and other valuables. Plus, it even supports wireless phone charging, making it a multifunctional and super convenient solution.

   Update: After owning it for quite some time, I feel like I need to update my review. The safe has all the right ideas. But needs a little fixing. I wish the clock could go into 12 hour mode, but it does not. The clock does stay on 24/7 if you have it plugged into the wall outlet. I never had any issues programming my finger prints and they tend to work every time i use it. The only thing I would complain about is the wireless charging. After narrowing it down, I’ve been late twice for work due to my phone dying in the middle of the night because this either didn’t charge correctly OR it drained my battery. I really hope they can fix this, because their customer support is excellent.

   As the kids got older, safety became a priority. With that being said, it was time to secure certain things a little better. I ended up coming across this convo safe that has the temperature, clock, phone charger, and safe! Wow am I impressed. This thing is heavy duty. The look of it is very sleek. The door pops open without issue. The fingerprint feature is a little touchy so be sure to scan your same finger a couple times. I do wish it had 5 numbers on the key pad, but I made it work! Absolutely love it.
