I recently purchased the GardePro E5 Trail Camera for a client that needed a solution for rescuing cats. It surpassed all my expectations in several areas.
Night Vision: The night vision on this camera is quite impressive. It captures clear images even in low light, making it perfect for monitoring the cats in pitch dark blackness.
Video Quality: The video quality is another standout feature. The footage is sharp and smooth that my client is able to identify the cats. I love that I can choose different resolution settings, allowing me to optimize storage space while still getting great video clarity.
Setting up the GardePro E5 was a breeze. Showing my client how to use was straightforward.
Highly recommended!

Using it to view game crossing our back yard at night. Programming it was a bit of a chore but fairly straightforward. Directions included were accurate. Mounted to a deck post very easily using the strap provided. Works very well, video quality and night vision capabilities are solid. Operating in extremely low temperatures – Minnesota USA – without issues. Easy to get to the memory card to view what was recorded. Have not tried to review recordings on the screen in the unit, but I’m sure it presents well. High quality design, materials and construction make it very durable. Great value for the money. I would buy it again and do recommend it.

This camera works well, and doesn’t seem to drain battery. I left it out for about a week, and the batteries were still full when I got it (and this was during snow).
The only thing is it did not detect any wildlife, even though there were tracks right in front of it. I am thinking the animal was too small, or maybe the snow threw it off. It captured me setting up and walking over to take it down, so the motion sensor is working- but maybe not for small animals. I am not totally sure, but I’ll keep trying.
It is easy to set up- just insert the memory card, and select the settings you want. The interface is kind of like an old camcorder. The color is accurate (camo).
Overall, I think it’s a good buy and will work just as well as the competition. The fact it didn’t pick up what left the tracks could be the size of the animal, if there was any snow blowing around, or maybe user error.

I put 2 GardePro e5 48mp cameras on my back fence over corn the beginning of November thru the beginning of March.
During that time we had rain , snow , sleet , and well below freezing temps. The cameras did good , they took 50 – 75 pictures a day and both cameras still have 2 bars of battery life left (alkaline batteries) The cameras take great pictures and I have them set at 32 mp . The only cons so far are that they count down from the total number of pictures available and the thermometer is less accurate the colder it gets, neither is a big deal . So far I’m really happy with the cameras.
