   Banking will not allow the purchase of app/plan unless authorized prior because the company is based overseas. Questionable security and fraud risk. I authorized a one time purchase and purchased the one year ultimate plan with unlimited video and pics. Then to find out if you want to see HD quality pics or videos you need to purchase those separately. Not going to call my bank and authorize a purchase every time I want to see a details. A lot of the pics and videos have ghost like target images. This manufacturer offers great prices for the quality you receive but makes their profit from HD pics and videos. The images you receive from the plan are the lowest quality. Looks like I’ll be buying another camera from someone else based in the USA. Same on me anyway! Support US workers and the economy.

   As a trail cam the pics and videos are good. If you use this as a security cam for a camp far away just know these go offline a lot. When they go offline they won’t send your phone any alerts and you won’t be able to access any new pics. Also in order to reset you have to drive and physically hold camera to do this or to diagnose w tech support. After 4 months I have had my cameras go offline at least 6 times and I have 3 cameras so it’s not a defective camera as they all lose connection.

   Stop and really dig into the specs, your use case, and expectations for this device. Pros: – daytime pictures and video are good quality – lots of advanced configuration options Cons: – Remote access is EXPENSIVE! $15 per month for unlimited “lite” 2 FPS videos. $5 per 200 seconds of HD video. $5 per 50 HD photos. $6 per 60 min of HD video. – very unimpressive battery life. 500 motion events @ 20 secs = ~2.5 days of battery. – Battery recharge takes +18 hours (5V @ 0.5 A = 2.5W) – Night photos and Videos aren’t great.

   I just received my new gardpro game camera .. Am give it a 3 star (this might go up after actually using it) BUT It doesn’t come with the things needed to actually charge this unit So until I go buy a special charger it’s just a neat looking camera

I purchased two Gardepro trail cameras, hoping for high-quality video and photos to capture wildlife in my backyard. The initial cost was reasonable at $96 per camera, but the experience quickly soured. **Product Quality:** – The cameras are advertised as delivering high-definition pictures and videos, but this is far from the reality. The quality is substandard, and you have to specifically request HD content, which is not what you expect when you buy a “HD” camera. **Customer Service:** – This is where the product truly fails. After purchasing, there’s no way to contact Gardepro directly. There’s no customer service number, email, or any form of support. If you have issues, you’re on your own. **Subscription Misleading:** – After buying the cameras, you’re nudged into a subscription model, which adds to the overall cost. I spent an additional $96 times 2 for subscriptions on both cameras, only to find out that the promised features and quality were not as described. **Return Process:** – Thankfully, ngclab.com is refunding me for the cameras, but there’s no recourse for the subscription fees. Since there’s no way to contact Gardepro, getting a refund for the subscription seems impossible. **Final Thoughts:** – These cameras are not worth the money. The misleading advertising about features, coupled with the complete lack of customer support, makes this a very poor investment. If you’re considering these cameras, look elsewhere. There are plenty of other brands that offer better quality, service, and transparency. **Would I Recommend?** – Absolutely not. Save your money and avoid the headache. If you do decide to buy, be prepared for a product that doesn’t meet its promises and a company that disappears once you’ve paid. **Action Taken:** – I am returning the cameras through ngclab.com, but there’s no resolution for the subscription fees, which is particularly frustrating. In conclusion, my experience with Gardepro has been extremely disappointing. Buyer beware with this brand due to the quality discrepancy and the absence of any customer support.

    This is a very nice well constructed piece of design and operation. There was much I liked about it and foremost was the cellular option allowing me to pull up my videos directly on my phone. The problem I had with it was, in my usage, despite trying every setting I could, the video was jerky. It wa shooting a 2 fps instead of 20 or 30 fps. I needed a more smooth quality to the video. I don’t know if it was the bandwidth or the camera, but it was unacceptable.
