Well made. My second of this size and type (not brand). I use it primarily in the car. Great having the fingerprint feature vs. only combination buttons and key. My last one had a thicker cable so I’m using that one (my only complaint and why I’m giving 4/5 stars). I like that the batteries are rechargeable and last a year on a single charge. My last one used AA batteries that leaked and killed it, so it’s a plus!

Product has a 12 Month warranty. Vendor honored it by sending me a new box (see original issue below). I really like this case. Having one go bad right after the return window had closed was frustrating, but the vendor did right by their warranty. Communication with vendor was a little delayed but successful. Moving to 5 Stars from 1, because the vendor was honorable with no hassle.
Original Issue from 7/20/24:
Bought this in May and the electronics have already failed. Keypad and Fingerprint reader will not work, they will not light up, and the unit will not charge. I get a faint on-off flicker when I plug it in to charge and it looks like it’s already at 75% charge. Had to use ngclab.com to get vendors contact info because I was past the return date. Vendor does not provide support info in the product packaging shipped. ngclab.com got me connected with the vendor. I will post my warranty claim experience.

I purchased 2 of these small gun boxes, one for me and one for my daughter. Worked fine when bought a few months ago but now mine does not retain fingerprints or numeric codes. I have kept the battery charged. I cannot access my pistol and have to find the key. Totally unsatisfactory and unsafe as I might need to access the gun in an emergency and be locked out. I have tried many times to re enter fingerprints or a numeric code. The device goes into error mode, red light and beeping for 100 seconds frustrating! I would never buy this product again.
I have to check my daughter’s to see if hers acts the same. Grrr. Now in the market for another solution.
