    This was very easy to set up with a solar panel. It’s great for an off grid application. It works well and the picture quality is clear. Night vision quality is fine.

    My husband is an avid deer hunter, so I got this trail cam for him to put out on the backside of our property where he likes to hunt. The camera was fairly simple to setup and install (he has it mounted to a pole). The controls on the app is easy to use, the picture is great both daytime and nighttime view, and it isn’t so sensitive that it picks up every little movement caused by wind. The solar powered battery seems to be working great and holding a good charge, we haven’t had any issues with low battery power. The included SIM card for connectivity works as expected, although the free 300MB doesn’t last very long. We tried getting a SIM card through our own cell provider, but was told that the camera isn’t compatible on their network so we couldn’t get the card. So for now, we will have to stick with buying a data plan with the provided card (luckily not horrible on price). Overall, my husband is happy with the camera.

    Yes, this does require a subscription/data card set up. That is a bummer, however, it has been working well as a security camera. The quality is good, and it has audio as well. It is easy to connect to a phone to view video. So far, it has been great, however, it isn’t exactly like a trail cam (more like a security camera wrapped in camouflage). The data fees are the only downside.

    Ceace This trail cam is packed with features, first of all, start with its 2K resolution, it takes an SD card and has a Sim slot for full view, live streaming and remote phone access! It is equipped with infrared night vision and smart motion activated capture. The entire system is enclosed in an IP65 waterproof housing. The 4G LTE connection is only supported on a 4G network, so keep that in mind. And SIM card are included! Free 300 MB of data available in the first month! Data plans can’t be renewed through the app after the trial runs out. 360 full view and continuous power from the solar panel. Can keep this camera going all the time with no batteries. I can’t believe this thing has 2K HD live streaming and two night vision modes…. I’m afraid I will just watch this camera all day and never get anything done. There is an app that works with this trail cam that can immediately send you notifications and you can adjust the camera from the app to cut down on false alarms.

    After reading the reviews, I was excited to purchase this trail camera to view wildlife on my property! Setup was not easy. I didn’t realize the camera isn’t compatible with 5G internet (I have T-Mobile) so I had to create a 2.4 network to get it to work. I also had issues with getting it to power up. Turns out the sim card wasn’t in place properly. Once I got everything set up, it worked correctly…for a day. I didn’t make any changes and now I don’t receive real-time alerts. I purchased a cellular and cloud plan thinking I ran out of space and that’s not the issue. Customer Service hasn’t been able to help. I’m ready to send it back and get a refund.

    Even though I recived this camera free as part of ngclab.com’s Vine Program I won’t be continuing to use it.

    There are key limitations you need to understand about this camera. It is meant to operate in a remote location with regular access to almost direct sunlight. It does not connect via wifi. It operates only on 4G phone networks. These are being replaced by 5G networks. If you have a 5G network, your 5G phone may work fine at a remote location, but the camera may not. Either way, you will have to pay someone a recurring fee to connect it to the world.

    If these are okay with you, this trail camera will function similar to a budget security camera. The lag time of recording moving objects may disappoint you. The camera may trigger regularly with blowing breezes. Still, it may be the best way to give you access to distant locations. Just make sure you understand how it works.

    Faccio questa recensione a distanza di circa un anno dal suo utilizzo… devo dire che l’ho installato su di un palo della luce in campagna e grazie a lei sono riuscito a garantire sicurezza alla mia villa… unico consiglio evitare di installare la stessa ad una altezza troppo elevata poiché potrebbe incidere sulla sensibilità del sensore di movimento. In altre parole più in alto si installa la telecamera meno rileva la presenza ed il passaggio di persone.
    Altra cosa molto importante è il posizionamento del pannello solare in una posizione tale da rendere ottimale l’esposizione al sole. Per il resto perfetta in tutto.
