Got a MC-2 along with a DC-2 to try both out. Our prior connected cams last only a season or two before dying so looking for an upgrade. The MC-2 lacks the LED screen of the more feature laden DC-2 but otherwise setup was a breeze. As instructed, I set up both in town where connectivity is no issue. Once onsite on the ranch, the MC-2 was able to connect immediately and uploaded photos within 2 min to the configured HuntControl app. The app allows full control of the camera – pics attached are at the 8M size, intermediate size. MC-2 can take photos, videos or both – depends on how much data you want to consume. Construction is robust – time will tell how it handles blowing storms, rubbing bucks and rooting pigs. Data plans are easy to understand and price seems appropriate.
