   Got this to help monitor for predators coming up to my chicken coop and see what else is being attracted to the area. Set up was easy, though I do wish it had a bottom screw in mount. Haven’t tested out the effect of the solar panel, but after charging and leaving to go it has continued to last during the summer months so it seems to be working. My biggest gripe is that it has a full size SD card instead of a mini-SD card slot, and I had to search around for an old converter so that I could get the images off, everything else I use is on minis. Overall a good buy

   First, let me say that this camera takes great photos and videos. No complaints there. The downside is the solar panel quit after a few months and won’t keep the backup battery full. That means having to change batteries more often.

   Something else to consider is the solar panel is positioned in such a way that the camera should be facing the sun. This means tons of ghost pictures that are over exposed.

   Once i programed the cam it worked great I have several days of wildlife photos. The speed is just fast enough to catch a 4 wheeler speeding by. The camo pattern blends well with the summer and fall colors .
   I am very pleased with the cam long battery life great photo quality and water proof as well. The strap works well even for very large trees. The threaded mount hole works well for attaching to screw in tree mounts as well.
   I find no negative aspects of the product .
   I would buy again.

   I bought 2 at the same time. Neither one will keep a charge. Everytime I go to check them they are dead and I have to take them home to charge them only to find 30 or so pictures on them, and I’m checking then around once a week. The solar panels don’t work and 4 batteries is not enough to last more then 2 or 3 days.

   I love my other Izeeker solar game 1080p cameras and this 4K model has improved the software and of course the image quality. Is it true 4K? Don’t care. It looks great to my eye. The rechargeable battery is nearly always 100% charged when I go check them every week. I don’t even put in back up batteries. This saves a lot of money. I will continue to buy this brand. A+

    Setup is extremely easy and battery holds a decent charge. Camera easily attaches to most trees with the provided straps. Daytime image quality is very good with excellent color saturation. Night mode images are clear. Comes with removable 32GB SD card which is too small if you are looking to capture high quality images. One nice feature is the ability to set the device to capture a still image and then record a short video clip. I’m not sure why the description states the connectivity protocol is wired. This is a wireless trail cam. That said, I prefer my dad’s trail cam, which has wifi capability. I don’t often go out and pull the card out of the camera, then pop into the separate SD card reader I had to buy to be able to get the images off the card. If you have time to do that sort of thing, this might work for you. I wouldn’t buy this for security purposes, because you just won’t be able to store enough data and retrieve it in a timely manner. Note: You can set the camera to stop recording when the card is full, or keep recording over it.

    I know I have foxes, but there are other critters as well so hopefully I’ll be able to see what over time.

    So far I am not using the backup batteries, just relying on the internal one, which I charged up as per the instructions. The solar panel means I hopefully will rarely need to top up the battery.

    One mistake I made was that the preview screen is just that, a quick preview of the video. So I had a number of apparent false recordings with nothing on the picture or the preview shot, so I deleted those. It was only when I went to look at the video I uploaded I found it showed a lot more. Live and learn.

    Be default this unit takes photos, I changed it to photo and video, but I will now change it to just video.

    For garden hosting (as opposed to trail) I will need to remember to turn this off every morning and turn it back on every evening (shame there is not a timer function) as I do not want videos of me wandering round.

    Will try to do an update after a month or two (down side to Vine Reviews is we have to get them up relatively quickly), but so far I am really happy with this camera.

    Update: I have had it out for some time now, aimed at an area where animals are digging holes at night.
    The camera does not capture any activity. I tested it by walking out at night and it captured me, but it is either not sensitive enough to capture small animals or capture quick moving animals… not sure. I am taking away 2 stars because it has been a disappointment and I am considering returning it.
    First review: It takes great pictures/video even at the lowest resolution. It is a bit of an issue to remove the SD card and take it in to be viewed rather than being able to view it on my phone or computer remotely. Because of that, I did not have it capturing the area I was interested in, so there is a learning curve to see how far away from the target area I need to be to see what is digging holes in my hard. That said, the price was right and I didn’t want to pay a subscription price so this will work for me as a stand alone unit. It is easy to set up and the solar panel keeps the unit charged. It came with an SD card already installed.

    I charged it put new batteries in it and put it up on my roof 2 months later i take it down and there were zero pictures. I just put new batteries in it thinking it was the batteries, no it doesn’t even turn on. Pure junk and my return window is over.
