   What an wonderful recording experience! I placed it under the dock in the backyard, then I found, my neighbor, Mr. Deer, would often come to my house, do some sport, eat food, or stay here for a rest. It shocked me that even small birds were recorded very clearly. It was my first time to see wild birds eating food such close. I have a great experience, and will keep to explore wildlife of my neighbors.

   This device is inexpensive and well-built. The assembly is simple and the mounting is easy as well. However, I soon realize the device cannot be accessed remotely, as the way other home security devices can. The connection is poor as well. It uses Bluetooth, so your phone has to be very close to it, otherwise you get the error message shown here. The device can only be connected and adjusted within the Bluetooth range. If you need a remote access, get a device can be connected through cellular or WiFi signals.

   We bought this to solve mystery on who is digging up our backyard. With this camera we found out that we had opossums and couple families of raccoons partying our backyard every night. We are now checking videos every morning with excitement. The picture quality is good in even dark night.
   As we were constantly checking the camera, it was running out batteries fast. Luckily it is possible to connect a power supply to the camera so you don’t need run it with batteries.
   Set up is pretty straightforward with the phone app.

   The camera takes high quality images, but the Wifi app is Chinese and highly invasive. You can use the camera without the app, however. The main issue is that the camera cannot handle monsoon rains. After one monsoon rain, water leaked into the battery compartment, control compartment, and main camera lens. Drying out the camera didn’t fix the foggy main lens, and the control buttons became dysfunctional: the enter button became an arrow function. I was unable to change settings. If you buy this camera, keep it somewhat dry. Battery life was poor, using one third of the Lithium batteries for 100 photos. Motion detection was good, however. Trigger speed was too slow, though. The image quality as long as you keep it dry was fantastic, however.

   the product was fine, I have it on the most sensitive setting and I have it going the furthest it can go. It is decent and very crisp picture and video. I would like to see them add additional IR lighting nodes to expand any image. I get coyotes that disappear into the night really early. So IR nodes would be very beneficial, especially if they can connect to one trail cam.

   On to the issue, but it still isn’t a big issue, just a learning experience I believe people should learn if they buy this. If you don’t unlink the camera to the app, it remains in app mode and won’t record anything. It took me quite a while to learn the aspects of the app and camera. now that I have, it works perfectly fine.
