These night vision binoculars work great. You can actually see in complete darkness. In fact, the darker it is, the better the night vision feature works.
These are digital binoculars at their core with the ability of night vision. It is amazing to me that you can get a product that has so many great features and has such great technologies crammed into such a small package.
The picture and video recording features are not the best but they work well enough. The main features to me are digital zooming and the night vision with such good video quality.
The screen is bright and easy to see with great video quality. This product is easy and simple to use and comes with good directions.
This is such a great value for all the functions and great technology that comes included with this product.

Don’t expect military grade night vision from these, but for what you do get, they are pretty good, especially at the price. Even without the addition of the UV light, their ability to enhance available light was impressive. Even looking into the night sky reveled at least 10x more stars in heavens. Of the features, zoom in and out is smooth The picture and video recording features are OK, but I wouldn’t pitch them as a major selling point. And the screen is bright and clear.
Now, for the things I didn’t like. First off, because it uses a screen to view the images, you need to hold it in front of you, thus occupying at least one hand. Maybe I’m just accustom to military NVGs that can mount to your helmet. But, to me, a bigger issue is the inability to zoom out to a 1:1 view. The best I’ve been able to do is seemingly a 2x zoom, meaning everything on the screen is twice as close looking as reality. That makes trying to walk with these in the dark a no-go.

This is a solid night-vision tool. I tested this with infrared pointers and it picked them up as it should. Note that its base magnification is not 1x, so if you want to see near in front of you, this isn’t the right tool. At its lowest magnification I think I was seeing about 8 feet away as if it was right under me. It can record photo and video and comes with an installed SD card, so it’s a good tool for those of us looking to see in the dark and record what we see.
