   These night vision goggles are lightweight and easy to use. They are functional in both daylight and darkness. In the daytime the vision, pictures and/or videos are color and good quality. In the dark the vision, pictures and/or video is black and white. There are different levels of brightness depending on the ambient light available and infrared for total darkness. I got these glasses to view the far off portion of my backyard before letting my dog out at night since she has been skunked twice. These night vision goggles are perfect for that purpose. I find myself using these more and more just to see what other creatures may be visiting my yard.

   I was impressed with the packaging and care that was used to produce a great product. I didn’t expect to get a 64gb card or a sturdy case. The setup was easy and the device is simple to use. Having a rechargeable lithium-ion battery is a huge plus, per the manual it will deliver 22 hours or usage time. I took a video of the unboxing which show the care the company takes to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. I took addition videos to show the daytime and nighttime variations, but ngclab.com only allows one video per review. I will say that at night is was able to pickup a small flame and a cold jar from my refrigerator at the same time and with enough quality to read the label on the jar. Adjusting the focus is simple and can be done while recording. It also has timers to allow you to record for different times automatically plus if not in use will shutoff after 3 minutes to save battery. The device also has a built in flashlight, including strobe functionality. I was able to mount it on my old camera tripod which is a plus if you want to catch wildlife after dark. The manual has great instructions which explain the functions and how to get the most out of the camera which includes photos and videos. This device is sturdy, feels well built and has ip65 waterproof. There is a tight cover securing the charge port and the micro SD slot. The Z098 Night Vision device, meets my needs and exceeds my original expectations. I have no regrets for my purchase and recommend it as a viable solution to have true night vision and lots of fun using it.

   I bought these as a gift for a close relative who loves to hike and birdwatch. She usually would lug her digital camera with all the different lenses when hiking/birding.    So now she has them and is very happy. The build quality, small size, and great visuals were noted when she and her husband first handled them. Her husband figured out how to use the binoculars and various features without even reading the manual as the controls are very intuitive and well placed. Then he taught her the functionality of the binoculars and she started using them immediately. She told me they are fantastic and have great vision and clarity with both video and pictures. She was also blown away by the nighttime capabilities. Now let us be clear, these are not military-grade night vision goggles nor a $2000 pair of Bushnell binoculars.
