   This is my third one of these adjustable holsters. One arrived with a crack in it and the company replaced it within 5 days. I have mainly Glock or PSA Daggers that I use them for and they fit a Holoson Light/Laser PID as well as a Crimson Trace Light/Laser I couldn’t find any other holster to fit. The last one fit a TLR-8 AG. The only thing I wish they would change is their screw mounting pattern. They utilize a tooth gear like mount system that doesn’t play well with other systems. Other than that, the company has been great and so have their products.

   If you’re looking for a super heavy duty holster that is customizable in almost every way than look no further. The really unique part about this holster is that it has a shield that will protect your optics. Simply press a button when you’re ready to draw and the shield retracts. Another unique but about this unit is you can adjust the retention level so you can adjust for a very light draw or a heavy retention heavy draw. This unit is thought out well and is very cool. This will also house a pistol with a light. I couldent be more happy with this.

   I love that it can be adjusted to any length and height of your firearm with a light attachment. Tension can be adjusted also. The holster’s safety release button could’ve been angled for a better immediate grasp of the pistol. But all-in-all, pretty good.

   If you’re running a G17 with a muzzle device this will not work, it’s too short. Also will not accept any optics on any G platform.

   If your G17 has no muzzle device and you have a small enough light this is a great holster! It’s easy to draw from a drop leg with positive retention. Wish the made a longer one to fit a G17 with a muzzle device.

   If you have an optic on your G gun this will not work either as there is not cut out for them.

   The Orpaz T40 Pro G17 Duty Holster is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a secure and durable holster.    The Orpaz T40 holster is the best holster I own. The magnetic barrel tip retention and rear lock with their very safe and intuitive release mechanism is the best I’ve seen. I’ve purchased one for my Glock 45 9mm. The Glock 45 has a radian afterburner and ramjet which increases its length to a Glock 17 length slide. This holster works for both Glock 19 and 17 length slides, and with both Streamlight TLR-1 HL and the Surefire x300 Turbo. You just need to adjust the length of the holster with the provided allen key.

   Pros: No wiggle, solid retention, well secured, smooth insert, highly customizable for different fits and lights, and it doesn’t appear to be scratching up the slide.

   Cons: None so far. Maybe price? But with that said, Safariland holsters can cost more and usually do less, so I can’t really complain about how Orpaz is pricing their top of the line holsters.

   Protects and secures the firearm, does everything I need it to do.

    For the amount of money and versatility of thease holsters I thought they would of took a little more time to polish and sand parts were you draw in and out from it leaves nice little scratches on my finish but im sure ill buff it down myself. Besids that its a great holster for a light and rmr
