If you’re only looking for a color night camera, this product is pretty cool. If you’re looking for functional night vision capabilities (ie for tactical purposes) this is absolutely not for you. There is a latency and blurring in the viewfinder with movement that makes it very difficult to use as a helmet or weapons mounted device. Also, it is not true night vision since it needs substantial ambient lighting relative to what’s required by true NVG’s like the PVS-14’s (which I have years of experience with).
Overall, it’s fun to use just for fun, but has no tactical application, which was my goal. Seems well built and the battery seems to last for a while.

This works great. Things which are pitch black to the naked eye are easily seen with this. No moon and overcast tonight and i can see out to 140 yards at least without an illuminator. I like it better than my pvs14s due to the image being in color, it’s hard for me to make things out at distance when everything is green. For me the color really helps.

Saw a Youtube video on how to use these as a helmet-mounted night vision set up. They are great! Bought an adapter bracket from Lions Gear Solutions (made specifically to use these cameras as NODS) and everything is perfect. Even in pitch black they provide a great picture. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Great viewing at night especially on the water. Had to get 2 so the girlfriend would stop stealing mine. Support is great – couldn’t get connected to android but they were great to get me going. Marine version camera hooks up to chartplotter, better than Flir.

With a product as expensive as this one The quality control needs a little improving. The camera seemed to function correctly but the flashlight did not work at all.
Instead of being able to get a new flashlight replacement I had to return the entire package.

With a ir light looks amazing. If you are expecting them to be military grade nvg’s you will be disappointed. Needs more light to see at night compared to an-pvs14’s; But it doesn’t suffer from burn in and the tube won’t burn out.
Also it’s in color, and does look fantastic with an ir light. And the price is amazing compared to used an-pvs14’s that go for over $2000
