   This is a great camera for remote locations. The pics and video are clear, the range distance is the best I’ve been able to find so far, and the ability to operate remotely is exactly what I was looking for. It is a heavy, bulky camera but so worth it. Easy to set up and the solar panel keeps it going without a hitch. You will have to buy an SD cars & SIM card (LTE) separately.

   It’s been 2 months and the camera has gone berserk!! Sending notifications literally every single second to my phone. I called Reolink and spoke to 6 people. All of them barely speak English. It’s so frustrating and pathetic!! Their warranty “team” doesn’t have a phone and the customer service department cannot connect you to them. Only communication through email. What a joke. Then they want you to pay for the shipping to and from their California location (I’m in Florida) and it could take weeks. Then they will send you a replacement. I have this in a site where my house is being built and keeping an eye on things even though it’s a gated community I still would like to know every single day what’s going on because my build is far away. The software went bad in the camera and it will not upload the updated version. So they camera with all settings turned off for notifications is off. My 256 memory card is getting filled and causing more issues. Seems like this is a good camera for others but the software issues is pathetic and it happened a lot they told me. How about that! Imagine nonstop every second a buzz or beep from your phone and you can’t turn it off unless I delete the app. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HEARD OF!!!

   I’ve been using the REOLINK TrackMix LTE for a few months now, and it has genuinely impressed me. It transformed how I monitor my vacation property and keep track of wildlife. Having terrible Wi-Fi, I needed a solution that would be reliable, have excellent video quality, and stay powered consistently. This camera checks all the boxes. Setting up was surprisingly simple. I purchased a prepaid T-Mobile SIM card and inserted it into the camera – it worked perfectly without needing any technical adjustments. Once mounted (it’s heavy, 1.5 kilo, so you need a solid place for it), I paired it with the solar panel included, and that has kept the battery 100% charged. Even in areas where there’s limited sunlight, I haven’t had any downtime. The best feature is definitely the dual-lens with 4K quality. It captures two angles – one wide and one zoomed – which allows me to see detailed close-ups and an expansive view simultaneously.    Build of the camera seems to be pretty rugged and the picture is fairly good. Setup instructions are poor. The real problem is in the service. I am using this camera next to a road and used the built-in feature to restrict the area the camera scans for movement so its not unnecessarily recording and I set the sensitivity of the camera likewise. I am also using the lowest settings for video. I had to upgrade the service to the paid 8GB service because the SIM ran out of memory in one day (before changing the settings as listed above) Even with the 8GB service it only lasted three days. Once it runs out of memory, the camera disconnects and is useless, and in my case, the camera is remote so you can’t just restart the camera (as the directions dictate, again useless) and its not initially clear that the reason it shut down was because the SIM is out of memory. This seriously affects the functionality of this camera.

   I bought this camera as a standalone unit that does not need Wi-Fi. I took a T-Mobile SIM card straight out of an extra phone that I had and stuck it into the camera and it worked flawlessly. Every now and again my service is slow so it will show on the camera but all in all that’s not the camera’s fault it’s T-Mobile’s. You get a great camera for the money and it has a lot of features on the app. I love how you get two different views one regular and then one a little bit more zoomed in. The zoom on the app works as well when you just pinch to zoom you can zoom in as far as you want to really. I’ve not had it not work for me at all it has been nothing but great so far. The battery lasts 100% of the time if you use the solar charger it never runs out no matter really how much you watch or stream to your phone or use the camera. It works great. There are a bunch of settings you can change as far as when you want your notifications and how you want them to come and where you want them to come it is really a good camera I couldn’t ask for a better solution for surveillance

   I have Verizon for my cell service…the Verizon data service plan for $20/mth will not work with this camera…BUT, at the Verizon store they add the equivalent of a new line and gave me that SIM card…I needed to delete the camera from the app and re setup the camera again with the new 5G SIM card installed… Works great and they are only charging me about $17/mth since the SIM card will be in a camera and not cell phone… Unlimited data and 5G…awesome!

    I purchased this product based on the Huntingfarmers recommendation. The product works great and the solar panel is excellent. It has helped me tremendously to determine age of deer and which deer I want to harvest in advance of going into field. Also, I have learned a great deal watching the videos and how deer socialize. The Reolink Ranger is a excellent product. I want to thank the HuntingFarmer (David) for his camera comparison which made my final decision to purchase the Reolink.

    App have some bugs and issues.
    Some setup options fail when trying to save. ( example: email setup, detection zones or screen brightness ).
    Overall is a good product, just fix the App.
