   Scope mount screw was no threaded from factory but was still put in.. base was threaded and there was an extra screw provided thankfully. I chased threads with a tap and used extra screw and some loctite. You get what you pay for I guess. Other than that scope isn’t bad at all

   The scope broke as seen in the picture. I had no idea a scope would fail using it on a pellet gun. Was never dropped or handled badly. Optics were good just had a design flaw. Wouldn’t buy again

   Absolutely love this LVPO!!! It holds zero perfectly under the recoil of a 16″ .308 gas gun!!! The glass is clear and the integrated throw lever is a great touch. The capped turrets are the only thing I’d change but nobody is dialing in a shot with a LVPO because that’s NOT their intended purpose. At this price point you should not pass up the opportunity to join the LVPO club!!! Yes there are more expensive options and if you have the money to throw at your weapon, more power to you … but if you want a serviceable scope with all the options needed to enjoy a range day or some friendly competitive shooting this is definitely the answer!!!

   So far I can only review the unboxing and the mounting of the optic as my build is not complete. Optic feels very solid. The Mount is light ,with very concentric scope rings, and seems like a more expensive upgrade. Optics extremely clear, on par with companies like Swamp Fox or Primary Arms. The reticle is crisp and level. Mine turned out to be level with the scope cap on the top turret. Found that out after the leveling process because I never trust them. Lighting controls excellent with off in between each setting. Plenty bright unless you are in a desert or snow situation. I’m not sure about the emitter yet, it might need an ARD. The etched black reticle is fine in those situations. The only thing I didn’t like was the bikini scope caps. Some people dig those but not me. Eye relief is above average and glass is very very clear, as I mentioned above. The turrets seem ok, with a tiny bit of click feedback. No zero yet. No manual .none .zip. no info on holdover bdc, or cartridge or barrel length. So you are on your own there for the most part. This seems like a good scope at a great price from what I’ve seen. So far so good.

   I love this scope! I prefer it over my significantly more expensive Sig. Light durable, clear glass, good eye relief. Nice easy zoom. Love it the illumination turns off between each intensity setting.

   First 4 star review because scope was clearly a return sold as new. Missing paperwork open seal on box not wrapped in plastic. Slight damage to box as well. Half moon reticle is a bit blurry but can be adjusted to a decent clear reticle.
   Scope glass is clear overall good quality. Worth the money assuming it holds zero. Not tested yet. Mounted on 10mm Ruger Carbine. Controls are a bit stiff at first but work as intended. Overall good quality for the price. Would buy again if I got an actual new product. Not sure about the fault on getting used item.

   Ordered this and expected it to be super low quality, poor optics and horrible eye to scope relief. Exceeded my expectations! Extremely well built, smooth zoom operation. Clarity is equivalent to scopes in the 500+ range. Looked at Sig MSR, Vortex and others in the sub 600 range and the majority were 2nd FP’s. Eye relief – more than three inches which is better than Sigs. Illumination is great even in full sun. At max mag the red horseshoe is pretty decent – maybe slightly grain – but who cares – it cost less than 160 dollars. ONLY two negatives – there is a slight halo in certain lights at the far edges of the glass which isn’t a big deal and second, the brightness knob is a little stiff. Have not mounted it yet so I can’t tell if it will hold settings but it seems well built and the mount is pretty beefy. Honestly the only scopes that really impress me (Leupold, Riton, Trijicon) are priced in the 1300+ range which is crazy money. At this price it is a keeper!

   This is my first Triton scope, and I am seriously impressed with it. It’s a high quality, very well purpose-built scope that will serve you well. It uses BDC1-F reticle, but I’d say it’s closer to a simplified Vortex’s EBR-9 MOA reticle and designed for use with 55gr .223 ammunition. This reticle is designed for the quick target acquisition in short range but can be used for medium and long range shooting as well thanks to bullet drop and windage compensation reference. Magnification can be easily adjusted between 1x and 6x by turning the ring located on the eyepiece side, featuring a small throw lever that makes life easier. Note that this is a first focal plane scope, meaning the reticle with zoom, and you increase magnification, keeping the reticle reference markings consistent! FFP for the win! Also, I need to point out that 1x is not exactly 1x. Very close, but I feel it’s still a bit different. I think it’s about 1.05 to 1.1. It’s close enough that you can shoot with both eyes open for about 30 seconds before your vision starts to play tricks with you. This works fine for the initial engagement, but eventually you will need to close your non-dominant (support) eye during sustained fire. It’s not perfect, but for about $145 it’s pretty damn good, and I have no problem using with both eyes open. The scope reticle is illuminated in red only and has 6 levels of brightness. I normally do not even consider a scope that does not have illumination because it greatly limits its usability, especially in dusk and nighttime. The reticle is etched on the glass and is very sharp. While you normally don’t illumination during the day, at the highest illumination level (6) the reticle is visible in daylight too. Note that illumination does not light up the entire reticle, only the central circle and crosshair. The brightness knob is not too stiff and quite easy to rotate. The scope has exceptionally clear optics, I did not notice any distortions even at 6x magnification, which is fantastic. Eye relief is excellent (3.55 – 4.00 inch) and ocular focus adjustment is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great. The ocular focus and magnification rings move smoothly, which tells a lot about the build quality of the scope. Windage and elevation turrets are not too large, but large enough so you can do adjustments with your fingers and are covered by screw caps. Note that the turrets do not have zero reset unfortunately, which I is okay for LVPO scope and I did not expect to have it in a low-cost scope. There are no “leashes” that attach the turret caps to the scope body, so when they are removed for adjustment, it’s very easy to drop or misplace these caps. The scope comes with a single-piece out-front cantilever mount, which is surprisingly good. I noticed that cheaper scopes usually of low quality include rings that I always throw away or give away and buy a new set of quality rings that might cost you as much as the scope itself. But this time I probably will keep this mount and actually use it on my rifle. The only thing I’m missing on this mount is QD locks. Pro-tip. While the scope’s reticle is fairly complex and provides guidance for elevation or windage adjustments, you still need to zero it first. Your best bet for zeroing it is to use a laser bore sighter. Just insert it into your barrel and zero your scope’s crosshair on its dot. Then on a range you can finish fine-tuning your aim at 6x magnification according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. This will save you tons of ammo. Bottom line: Yes, I do recommend this Triton scope to every gun enthusiast. It has crystal clear optics, magnification from 1x to 6x, which is perfect for close quarter aiming, ocular focus, and its eye relief is outstanding. The reticle is a simple yet highly effective BDC1-F, which resembles simplified Vortex’s EBR-9 MOA reticle and is perfect for quick target acquisition and short and medium range shooting. All adjustments work smoothly, turrets are hidden under the cap, but don’t have zero stop feature. Plus, it has red illumination. For 145 bucks it is a deal you can’t beat, and it even comes with a solid single-piece scope mount. Definitely a 5-star product! Pros: 1. Very well built overall. 2. First focal plane!!! 3. Magnification 1x to 6x. 4. Highly effective BDC1-F reticle. 5. Reticle is red illuminated. 6. Outstanding eye relief. 8. Has ocular focus. 9. Comes with lens covers. 10. Cantilever mount included. 12. Argon purged and fog proof. Cons: 1. Turret caps have no leashes. 2. Turrets are not zero reset capable.
