Very happy with this scope. The build quality is there. It was easy to sight in and so far has held zero well on a 338 lapua magnum.

First FFP scope I’ve owned and it takes some getting used to. It’s clear, the magnification works well. The zero spot feature is handy. Really no reason to complain. I’ll buy another if needed.

I put it on a bolt action 338 Lapua Mag. The scope has held up nicely however don’t skimp on the rings. Im on my 3rd set because imma cheapskate but this time I bought good ones. Magnification is mind blowing. Clear and worth the money. It functions great and perfect for the size. It has moa on the FFP. I’m reaching out close to 600 yards no problem.

The pictures of the damage are from my Son dropping the rifle at the range. He went ahead and sighted it in and the scope still performed amazingly well. Of course, him and the rifle had something to do with it too. I contacted Vortex asking if I should use a wood block and hammer to knock it back in or not worry about weather intrusion and they said “Send it back”. I have 6 or 7 Vortex optics and only used the warranty twice, this one was our fault. Both times the customer service has been the best I have ever experienced, the warranty is no BS and the products are amazing. I can’t say enough good stuff about Vortex.

Have only used it a couple times thus far but so far I am very pleased. I’m shooting 22lr fun matches and it is really an improvement over my other cheaper stocks. It’s more than I need for the 22 but the optics, the adjustability, and the quality are worth every penny. My 13 year old granddaughter even appreciated the differences. The clarity is the main difference. The reticle markings are super small at some zoom levels but are plenty big enough at others. This is a first focal plane so the reticle moves in scale with the target so that you are always in proportion. Great little scope if you don’t want to pay $800-$1000 for one. I’ve looked though those that other shooters have and this one is comparable. If you’re shooting Camp Perry, you probably want something more, but if you’re shooting fun matches at your local club, this one is a real value.

I have two Vortex Venom scopes. If you can do without the lit reticle, these scopes are fantastic. I use them on long range shooting and I love them.
