   Mounts easily and fits RMSC footprint. Build quality seems cheap and reticle is not well defined as with others. Fun tons as it should both there are better options.

   I made the switch to red dot optics about 5 years back and have used a number of red dot sights from several of the name brand manufacturers. This optic has all of the features that the others have at a much more attractive price. It fits perfectly on my handguns that have the RMSc footprint and works as it should. The dot is easy to see and the variable brightness give me the ability to fine tune the brightness for any lighting condition. Switching between the 3 different reticles is straightforward. Push and hold the “up” button for 3 seconds and the reticle changes. It will cycle through the options of dot only, circle only, and dot/circle combined. CVLife includes a Picatinny foot as well as an MOS adapter plate to open up the number of firearms this dot can be used with. They also include all of the screws and tools needed to mount and adjust the sight. As an added bonus, they include 2 batteries so you have a spare when the first one runs out of juice. I can’t attest to the longevity of the battery at this point but so far so good. For the money, this appears to be a great optic that will give the big name brands some serious competition.

   The only reason I’m giving the a four star over a five is mine was on with the battery in it and also the adjusters had marks from a screwdriver. It was not stated this was used yes it is working and holding zero after 200 rounds of 9mm. And it did not come with the little tools to adjust it like my other one did. Besides all that minor inconvenience it is work fine the auto on off is working fine too.

   Bigtime CVLIFE fanboy here. This little company continues to impress me with their affordable optics. This latest offering is no exception. Their shake to wake red dots just keep getting lower and lower, putting your sight picture as close to the slide as possible and allowing the use of two small fiberoptic iron sites at the rear base. The whole thing is only 8.8mm tall! I’m also impressed with how CVLIFE is moving more and more towards the widebody windows, this aperture being 86” x .62”. That doesn’t sound like much on paper, but you have a drastically increased width of view compared to other reflex sites. Multiple site pictures ranging from a 32 MOA big dot down to 3 MOA pinpoint allow quick target acquisition during close encounters or pinpoint precision when you need to reach out and touch something. The aforementioned shake to awake feature is a huge battery saver. You can be as methodical as you want for months when it comes to turning your site off after a range day, but it only takes leaving your site on one time to completely drain a battery. With this feature, the site is always ready to go with no hassle. Very pleased indeed.

   If you’re looking for a good optic for a glock 43x/48 MOS (RMSC mount) this optic is a great option for you. The metal construction of the optic feels sturdy and well made. The housing feels robust and seems like it can take some light abuse that you’d expect for an AIWB carried CCW. The glass is very clear, making it easy to find your target and align your dot on target.

   It’s very easy to switch between dot, donut, or both, depending on what your specific needs are. I’m happy carrying the dot and donut because it makes both precise shot possible while also quick target acquisition. I run the brightness pretty low, but I can still easily pick it up in daylight, and it’s not too bright at night or indoors.

   I have a slight astigmatism, and this dot appears crisp, unlike many other dots I use.

   This is a good value for money, though you’re approaching 75% of the price of a holosun, so you need to make the decision for yourself. The 407k would be the closest mainstream competitor to this product (other than the dot options).
