   Initial impressions are mixed in regard to quality. As soon as I unboxed, I noticed the emblem that is supposed to be on the battery cover was off. Not a great start as whatever bonding agent was used completely failed. Not a deal breaker, but details matter in my world. Plus, if you’re spending the $250 for a scope, it’s not unreasonable it comes intact and in good working order. Last complaint, it does not come with a battery. It does use a CR2032, which is a common battery now with vehicle key fobs. Now, as far as the optics go, this is a very clear CQB scope, reflecting/refracting light well to give a bright, clear, and focused sight. Recticle pattern is sufficient in full sun and powering off the recticle is completed by simply holding the minus button for a couple of seconds. I tried to capture a photo with my phone, but my phone doesn’t pick up the recticle well. So, when referencing the photo, the recticle is much brighter than the photo. I will try to update when I have it sighted in, and I may throw on a red dot to fully test how this scope performs.

   Sweet setup and value for the money. Glass is a step up from previous models they had and good light transmission for this price point. Reticle is crisp and the brightness settings are good. Held zero just fine and the option for a top RDS is a great thing. Vector always improves and delivers.

   I mounted this sight and paired it with a Holosun optic on top, then took it to the range to sight in the red dot everything is holding zero well. The eye relief is good, and I appreciate the 1 MOA dot and IP67 waterproof rating. It’s great for a range toy, but I wouldn’t trust it for duty use. While it’s marketed for CQB, I’m not entirely convinced it’s the best fit for that purpose.

   AWESOME optic for the price! It feels like an acog for poor people. The prism is super tough. It gets beat and hit around all the time and has kept zero. The mount is sturdy and I had no shifts in zero. Under 5.56 fire, the optic held fine and always hit point of aim point of impact. The bdc worked well at multiple distances for where I zeroed at 100. The top dot was only for true rms optics, but I was anle to fit holosun k footprint optics by removing the rear lugs with pliers. I kohnted an EPS full size and it has stayed in place and held zero as well. The original mount was good but it did not work well in terms of naturally coming to my eye when bringing the optic up. Vector optics sells another mount that fits T2 style footprints that brought this much closer to my eye and it installed well on their rum mount that I bought separately. The battery life was great and the reticles lit up well to contrast against many backgrounds. Overall, a great budget optic for tough use and versatile short to mid range distances. Truely, a great option for the everyday person!

   Ok, for whatever reason, mine took forever to show up. That aside, this thing is great. For the money there’s not a lot that’s going to beat it. 4x power is great, the reticle is simple and bright. The top red dot mount is super useful if that’s your kinda thing. It’s the rmsc footprint. Got mine sighted in, and was ringing the gong 10 out of 10 times at 300 yards. Uses the aimpoint T1/T2 mount if you wanted to change the mount it comes with. My buddy liked mine so much he bought the same thing to replace his red dot/ magnifier combo 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

   This is my first Vector Optics brand optic scope. I like the size of it very well. It van stay mounted on my AR15 and my gun case will still close. I have been working on getting it set up correctly and I can say that this is going to be a great optic. It is very lightweight and easy to adjust. Even at a long distance, everything appears very clear and easy to see. It does have an area to mount a red dot too. This optic is water proof and fog proof, so it should be good for any weather conditions.
